I also heard over and over how good of a job he did with the Steelers. Bruce Arians called some of the worst games I've ever seen. It's not a mystery to me why Ben is suddenly playing the best ball of his career, and why Heath is having the best season of his career, and why our running game seems to have gotten going again for the first time in years, despite the fact we are constantly playing musical RB's and musical OL's.

    I'm very happy he's gone.

Luck is a very special young QB. He's going to get a lot of coaches wins for years to come.

For crying out loud the guy is finally gone and still we get posts about him almost every week. Bruce is NOT that good...but he doesnt suck....he's average. The players are making him look better than he is. The end! TTF can we ban all BA posts from the main Steelers forum? Hhaha

I've got a feeling when TTF gets back on here he will promptly move this thread over to "thecoltsfans.com" if you know what I mean. I agree with you about hating on the BA posts. Although I do despise him and never get sick of hearing about him but still.

Arians is awful. Period. You can see clearly that haley is worlds better than him and he isn't that good! Ben shd have had 4 more yrs of what he is doing now if not for brutal bruce. Go away.

Did you just say that Haley isn't that good??? Well ok.... but even Bill Belichik said that Haley was a "genius". What do you know that he doesn't?

LOL. Apparently not. I'll tell you something hilarious though. Every year at UPS we hire a lot of people to help out with the Christmas season which is what we call "peak". So we get this guy who was wearing a Steelers hat and they put him in my area and I'm on a committee that has to go and try to get people not to quit because about 80% of people quit within the first few weeks because the work is so insanely physical. So I go to the guy to talk to him and I'm like "are you a big fan or just wearing the hat"? and he says "oh I'm a huge fan and I always go up to Baltimore when we play the Ravens". So I was like "sweet! and I'm SO glad we have Todd Haley now! I love him and I am the President of his fan club"! and that guy was like "whoa! really?" and I was like "yeah dude! I despised BA so bad!" So then I'm on my way home and it hits me that that guy thought I was saying that I am ACTUALLY the President of the ACTUAL Todd Haley Fan Club! LOLOLOLOL! I've got a kick out of that all weekend. The guy asked me for my number so he could text me during the game after every good play and just simply put "Haley". But I had a Church function to go to so I didn't get to watch the game in real time until the start of the 4th so I told him I wouldn't get to do that this week but we would next week. I've told him about the site though so he should just come here. Also I met a guy at the midnight sale of Assassin's Creed 3 wearing Steelers stuff and told him about the site too. I'm a huge recruiter to the site but my REAL motive is to get them in the Haley Club! LOL.

No because the week OF the game I got VERY sick and had to go to the DR. and miss a week of work. I had been trying to quit drinking caffeine and so I woke up on the weekend feeling kinda crappy and I thought it was just caffeine withdrawals but I kept feeling worse and thought it was the flu. So then they told me at the walk in clinic that it wasn't but if the symptoms continue go see my family doc. So I woke up Monday morning in HORRIBLE pain all over my body and could barely move and my wife was like "you HAVE to go to the Dr." so I did and they took some bloodwork and the levels in my liver enzymes were really high which means severe inflammation. So then they take MORE blood and they are even higher and the dr. told me to stay in the bed period. I said "dude I've got a game to go to this Thursday and I'm not missing it if they have to carry me in on a stretcher." So he said "well you can go but ONLY if someone drives you and I told him my buddy would. So needless to say I just didn't have the time to go and get the sign made. But I had EVERY intention of doing it though. Turns out my enzymes got 1,500 times higher than they were supposed to be but the only thing they could figure out was that it was a virus and I feel better now so I guess they were right. But they thought it might've been rheumatoid arthritis but thankfully it wasn't.

Wow, pretty sucky. Maybe it was fate, you may have opened the gates to all the trolls to ruin our Steeler haven had you held that sign up :lolol:

Why does BA winning surprise anyone? He has a very talented QB with one of the best Veteran WR that is out there. As he proved in Pittsburgh with Ben that if you have a QB that you let throw almost 50 times a game you can scratch out a win. But lets be honest here it wasn't pretty and it had more to do with the emotional high from having their sick coach there. That can do alot for a team remember the Bungles defense the year Zimmerman's wife died? They played inspired ball for their coach but eventually came crashing down. BA's style of offense can win games but sooner or later defenses figure out how to stop it.

Yeah but it probably wouldn't have been on tv anyway because I was literally RIGHT behind the camera. My seats were 3rd row on the 45 behind the Titans bench. If I'd been behind the Steelers bench the camera would've been facing me when the teams were at mid field. I WAS on the Titantron in the stadium though and I waved my towel and I looked DANG sexy! LOL.

If you go back and re-read your post you'll see that you did say that Haley isn't that good. That might not be what you meant to write, but using the rules of the English language, that is what you wrote, which is why many of us believed that's what you intended to say. No need to go offside on people for misinterpreting what you wrote, especially when it was your bad grammar that caused us to misinterpret it.

Maybe he's just better as a HC and OC versus just the OC. He knows that wearing the HC hat makes him even more accountable for the results hence more common sense in the play calling :hehehe:

I really don't care if BA wins every game as a head coach it still doesn't change the fact that he was not very bright as an OC.

Haley is light years better as an OC.
