They figured any more silly business would just be too much.

Do you think the NFL told had a conference call at halftime and said, "I think THEY are onto us!"

LOL. Who knows? Maybe they thought they did enough. When it was clear the Gnats could't seal the deal, they figured "hey, we gave you 14 points. Anything else and congress will be investigating."

Very funny! I also find it VERY interesting that when we made our comeback, "Roge the God" was mysteriously MIA. Did you see him after that early shot of him giving the officials something in a sealed envelope at halftime?

Not sure, I think the envelope had the Ireland's Ambassador's stamp on it.

Bottom line: The Refs came out and played hard today - but the Steelers were able to play harder and escape with a W.

No, Goodell called off. He said he ll get enough fine out of Clark for the helmet to helmet that bruised Cruz's ribs. He ll donate that money to NY and that will left their spirits more than a win. :roflmao:

It even seemed to me in the late third and fourth quarters that someone had made a phone call to the press box because the talk about the bad calls sure turned to "well maybes" in the later part of the game.

I couldn't help laughing at that one, but did you see this week's flub where the ref got hit in the face with the ball when he wasn't looking as the player threw it to him after the play was over? Seriously, you can't make slapstick on purpose better than that! :D
