    Im seeing reports on twitter that Rainey has a punctured lung.. NOT CONFIRMED YET!!!

    I told my wife broken ribs and thought to myself punctured lung. He was in some serious pain and collapsed like he lost breath.
    Hope everything is OK but really concerned.

    Wow. Not good. That's pretty agonizing. Just broken ribs is bad enough. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery.

    Wow, if true, he'll need a considerable recovery. Punctured lungs are no joke. Hoping for a quick and trouble-free recovery for him.

    It was that extra dive on him at the end. That's the kind of crap that should be cut out. If you can see the guy looking at you on the ground, don't dive on him!

    Come on, it wasn't dirty... It was pretty bang bang. I ***** and moan when we get called for personal fouls, can't have it both ways. It's a violent sport.

    Saw a post on Faecbook about Rainey....

    Said he has a punctured lung as in the hospital but the only thing I've been able to find is that he left the game due to a rib injury. Sure looked like he was hurting on the sidelines.

    I didn't see it but my buddy texted me that they rewinded the play and watched it a few times, and he definitely thought it was a late hit

    Dejan Kovacevic has reported via Twitter: No broken ribs. Rainey expects to be sore for a few days but not miss next week's game.

    Yeah, he reportedly rode the team bus and got on the plane. I think a punctured lung would preclude him from travelling back with the team tonight.

    Rumors circulating that Chris Rainey had a punctured lung appear to false as Alby Oxenreiter, WPXI-TV Sports Director, reports he walked to bus & is on the plane.
