Humphrey looks like he was a great pick by the Chiefs. I'm not sure anybody is really arguing that point, though I've been told, using hindsight is bad. I remember plenty of folks here calling for the Steelers to take him in the second round. I was one of them. I don't remember anybody calling for them to take him in the first.

His official listings on Steelers.com is incorrect. His actual listings are located here. Realistically speaking, many times the official sites do this.

Just recently, Isaiahh Loudermilk was somehow listed at 247lbs!! His 247lbs must be the most jacked up I have ever seen!! :lolol:

    This.

Last time the Steelers took a flyer on an unknown, it was Ziggy Hood, Huey Richardson long before him. Look how they turned out. Not stating that the Steelers methods is 100% as that is all but impossible. Having the "big men" their at their Pro Day's gives the team a much better standing in landing good to even great talent.

Somebody has to post the positive PFF stuff, you seem to only post the negative PFF stuff about the Steelers.

Is the theory that this only applies to high draft picks? Remember, they did draft a player from Oklahoma this season.

Also, just because they didn't go to a player's pro day doesn't mean they were right to skip it.

Maybe they went to another pro day the same day as Oklahoma's, or they go to the pro days that have a lot of draftable players.

Possibly, but the points is that they chose not to make Humphrey a target and that may have been a mistake.

Not to me, I wanted Freiermuth now they have a sure handed TE that's capable of 10 TDs a season.

I bet the Steelers told Freiermuth that if he was on the board at #55, they were going to take him.

    This.
We should either combo block with Green or pull him to take advantage of his athleticism on most plays. He gets pushed back more because he has short arms, as opposed to being too small, and that only seemed to be prominent this week primarily due to scheme. If they are lining a NT up over your center than run counters/tosses to the outside walling off all of those d linemen.

Kendrick weighs more than last year's 1st team All-Pro (Linsley) and considering he is only 22, has time to get stronger.

If Muuuuuth can put together a career like Heeeeeath, then he was a steal in the 2nd round. Time will tell.
