Who else thought of @mac daddyo when Cassius Marsh got that penalty?

Mac was right all along. Marsh can help the Steelers win.

if it makes you feel better go ahead. highsmith had zoro's across the board. we need much more from him. 3 guys we have or had and got rid of outplayed him. ingram which we traded because we had highsmith, marsh because we picked up ingram and had highsmith, and that scrub taco charlton which we picked up because we traded ingram, had highsmith and cut marsh and kept jones and cut our draft pick. all this because we have highsmith. all except maybe jones has outplayed highsmith so far. this isn't troubling to you? frankly i could care less about marsh, but you guys have fun but the bottom line is, highsmith isn't doing much this year. playing across from one of the best and that is a problem.

 

You are right. Highsmith isn't playing all that great, at least across the stat sheet. I don't mind Taco at all or any other player that can be a solid contributor. The problem is you seem to latch on to these lower tier players and hype them up way beyond their worth. And you won't let it go. Marsh was the most recent example of that. They drafted and signed several other LB's in an obvious attempt to upgrade over Marsh, yet you went down swinging.

no actually the trouble is you guys read way more into it then i do. marsh isn't a terrible player, he has been in the league a long time now. he was only a backup that would have gotten limited snaps. that's all we needed him for and he always was a decent special teams player. again that's a plus. many of these so called scrubs by you guys are good players that need a shot sometimes. we have had tons of them and so has the rest of the league. hilton, harrison, AV, feiler, foster, nix, rader, maulet, many over the years.

you of all people that defend the steelers to a fault that they can do no wrong brought those players in so why wouldn't you want to trust now what they brought in? is it just because i thought they were OK players for us? is that the problem? i see they are still working out edge rushers. we worked one out today. i know another scrub since he's not a draft pick and DPOY, but don't you trust who they picked? we are still looking for edge rushers and have been through a lot of them already this season. maybe they had one here that they didn't look at long enough. who knows. all i know is he outplayed our starter monday night in the short while he was on the field. yes he made a stupid move but at least he did some things while on the field. isn't that what we want, production?

 

3 jump on the piles. 1 of those qb hits should have been a flag actually.

 

I'm mostly upset about Adeni and Roche rolling out of town.

With all that said, I thought it was a stretch to penalize him for taunting for looking over to the bench. I'll take it but I just shook my head a bit.

 

Remember Bud Dupree. People were calling bust for his first 3 seasons. Highsmith has a way to go before that landmark.

So Highsmith actually makes some plays and you dismiss it. But Taco Bumps into a guy and you try and credit him with Schobert’s forced fumble.

he didn't make any plays. assisted tackles after someone else was making the tackle already.

 

4 seasons. He didn't wake up until the 5th year option $$$$
