11/5/2007 MNF Steelers clobbered the Ravens 38-7.

By halftime the game was out of reach with the Steelers up 35-0. All that needed to happen was for the Defense to hold their ground which they did triumphantly. A total domination over the Rats from beginning to end.

How do I remember this so well? My son was born about 10 hours before kick off. Happy Birthday to my son. He bleeds Black N Gold just like his old man.

One of the best and most dominating games ever by the Steelers. Did I mention satisfying because it was against the Ratbirds? :steelflag::dfense::yeehaw::towel::herewego::herewego!:

I remember that being the game where James Harrison had one of the most dominating performances I have ever witnessed in a Steelers game.

I believe that was James Harrison's first game as a starter.

I think it was his 1st year starting but not his 1st game starting.

Porter left for the Dolphins in 2007, and Harrison became the starter.

His 1st official NFL start was in 2004 when Joey Porter got in a pre-game fight/ SPIT with William Green

Harrison was on another planet in that game. Just a remarkable performance.

Even though James Harrison was a beast that night, my favorite hit was when Hines Ward leveled Ed Reed.

Ben threw 5 TD passes in the first half and I thought that he was going to throw 8 or 9 for the game and shatter the record. But we're up by so much that Charlie Batch played most of the second half and simply handed the ball off to FWP and Davenport.

I actually asked if they could change the delivery date since the Steelers were playing that night. Neither the wife nor doctor would go for it. My son was born at 10:19 am and I stayed at the hospital til 7:30 PM, was given permission to go watch the game by the wife. Kissed them both goodnight Picked up some beer on the way home and celebrated both the birth of my son and the big win.

was just messin with you. lol I would have told the dr's to knock my wife out for a few hours.

The fact that your wife wasn't willing to change the labor date really says how selfish she is. I hope she was apologetic and saw the error of her ways.

He had a safety too, but the officials showed the Ravens some mercy.
