I guarantee you can’t find a screw up of her caliber. I guarantee they never accused someone of pouting on the sideline while their teammates celebrated a TD meanwhile he actually participated with the celebration. You really are ridiculous that you can’t admit how bad that was and try to equate that with normal reporting mistakes.

And yes, my specific issue with her is competence and honesty. So silly of me to have such standards. Whatever man, keep waving your journalism pom poms.

    This I totally understand.
I just think ...Like I said in a comment earlier....I think We put so much importance 2 teaching, and Developing Homegrown Talent ...that if You're not Head, and Shoulders above What we have...Like Haden was....When You come Here... You have a role, and I don't think they lie about the role....I think the Players Lie 2 themselves about those roles.

Age and contract status factor into it.

I doubt she made those quotes up, all she had to was get in touch with Ingram's agent, I bet she got those quotes from him.

Doesn’t matter, there are other reporters I trust over her.

With all of this discussion, you'd think they traded Jack Ham. This guy was at one time a good player. He's an aging vet that's trying to get his last contract. Let him start b!tching to Fat Andy after 5 or 6 games. Who the hell cares?

In season? We've had four that I can remember in the last 7 years.

I don't like them trading him to the Chiefs, but I guess that was the best offer out there, I hope the Chiefs miss the playoffs :hehehe:.

I don’t think this is that big a deal. One year contract that wasn’t doing much. Bit players that aren’t even very good bit players are easy to jettison when they rock the boat.

Yeah I think us fans are overrating Ingram, I'm worried about the OLB depth though.

    Huh

We got a 6th for a player that was moving down the depth chart and it cost us nothing

    That’s a good move

    Not like a 6th is a lot

So you’d rather have the cancer? The Steelers have no need to keep a backup around that causes issues. It’s not like we are talking about a star. It’s usually backups or has beens.

It’s pretty clear the Steelers philosophy is team players.

Volunteers not hostages as Tomlin says.

I’m sure they don’t ever want to revisit the kind of locker room they had a few seasons ago.

Cancer? Word was that Ingram was a great locker room guy when they signed him.

He asked to be traded after it became public the Steelers were fielding offers for him.

He returned to the team this season, but he had been out with an injury until Monday night, when he returned to the active roster but did not play.

Have you missed what every single outlet has reported about the situation or are you just ignoring it and making up your own bull****?

You are vastly overflowing that error. Also, by your own admission, she didn't try to double down or deflect when her error was pointed out. She owned it. I'm not sure what your issue is with her, but you are reaching to try to justify it.

I guess your standard changes depending on which reporter makes the error. Mine does not.

Arthur Moats was talking about this on SNR. It became known they were fielding offers at the same time they cut his playing time. Of course he wanted out.

You think Ingram forced his way out of town based some very limited reporting and a lot of speculation? He was a great teammate who couldn't handle the notion that he might get traded? Oy.

I am really missing Quincy Roche right now. We do not even have Jamir Jones, the guy we waived him for.
