Have won three games in a row, keep stacking those wins , and they're no longer in last place the Browns are .

 

With games against Chicago and Detroit coming up, it really needs to be 5 in a row. They will then face a tough rest of the season. If they can grab both games vs Chi and Det and find a way to just be .500 the rest of the way, we are looking at a 10-7 record. Not bad considering we started 1-3 with some ugly losses.

 

Better game planning the last week wins. Run the ball and make Ben a manager. Ben needs to make a few plays a game can’t rely on him to throw it 40 times anymore. Solid defense and running game this team can stay competitive. Gotta keep playing in a positive game script, at least they seem to have made a little adjustment in the offense.

 

Steelers have lost to teams with a combined Record of 17-6.

Just thought that was interesting.

bears surprised this weekend, so, not a gimmie,
the lions, however, I would say no need to putt, pick it up, thats a gimmie (after they got murdered by the eagles (who really r not v good), eagles scoring 44 points against the lions, no one saw that one coming

 

Amazing what a younger and more aggressive Offensive Line can do for a team!!!! Who would've thought?!

 

In all seriousness though, good to be out of .500 for the season. More importantly, this gives one of your division rivals little room for error. That said, the task is not going to get any easier as the Chicago Bears come to town on Monday Night. Going to be interesting to see if Khalil Mack is ready to play by then; Zach Banner doubly so. Even though Dan Moore Jr got whooped by Myles Garrett today, an important teaching moment overall along with new knowledge that he can use to work on. I would say keep Moore in there and just let him take his lumps. Use Banner as someone who is tackle eligible until Moore truly runs into the dreaded Rookie Wall.


Regarding Defense?! Very good and steady as she goes. Devin Bush though is going to be counted upon even more next week as Justin Fields has impressive mobility and can make people miss in the open field. To counter a freak level athlete.. you need a freak level athlete of your own.



Hopeful that Boz can play that game. That said, never rush a concussion.
