You said not one good DB since Tomlin was hired. I met the criteria. But now you want to move the target?

This board seems to have a number of contenders annually for the "It's Not What I Said, It's What I Meant. Sort Of. What's That? A Fact? Oh, @$*& You! Tomlin SuxX! We're Nevar Winning AnotherR Super Bowl!!" award. We should consider posting the distinction on our home page in place of Steven Ridley's 2018 NFL Mock Draft.

Also, a few more appearances and Glemm is going to need its own origin story.

I would say that's even worse than having a coach "wooed" away. That means you were too dumb to realize you had a talent and not only let it walk away but you pulled the whole fake "retirement" crap.

Hilton yes (although if we are counting him as a positive developed player then thats a bad move letting him walk), Taylor was drafted by cowher and was on his 4th year when tomlin became coach. I would say he was mostly developed at that point. His best year was Cowhers last year. Just Sayin.

This. Some of these guys step in **** and instead of wiping it off they run around and track it everywhere.
And as much as some of these guys double down i’d hate to see them playing blackjack.

Well the other person said Tomlin hadn’t developed not even one good DB. Hilton alone disputes that nonsense. As far as Taylor goes he was playing like **** and benched in 2006 during Cowhers last season. He only flourished with Mike Tomlin as the head coach.
I chose those two players because one was Tomlin‘s first and the other was Tomlin‘s most recent. I’m sure with a little bit of digging I could come up with a few in between that we’re good dB’s

I have a bit higher expectations from tomlin on DB's. Thats supposed to be his specialty and when you look at the sample size and what he has done i am a bit underwhelmed to be honest. He has whiffed more than he has hit. But i get what your saying though and makes sense.

Ben wouldn't have lasted that long in Arians offense, Ben took too many hits when Arians was OC.

Sutton is a good player, he was good enough to get a second contract from the team.

Ben got rid of the ball quicker under Haley, but Haley sealed his fate when he told Ben to STFU.

I've known Todd Haley since before many of you were even born. He was the best OC Ben could have ever had but also know he can be a big JO. Knew from the get go that he and Ben would be as close as oil and water. Haley pretty much ruined his NFL career with this experiment.

You think it ruined His career more than what happened at Cleveland???
Speaking of Haley...I heard Him talking earlier in the Year, and saying(think this was around week 3) the problem this Year with Ben in His opinion ....Was Ben didn’t trust the O-Line.

Haley is difficult to get along with. Ben is an egotistical hardhead. Both think it's my way or the highway. Ben won that argument and Haley was not renewed after his contract expired. He then went to a Cleveland Browns dumpster fire and was canned along side his HC. He has not sniffed the NFL in over 3 years. His NFL career essentially fell off the cliff during his Pittsburgh years.
