More Public Whining From The Giants

    You would think that Justin Tuck's rather lame attempt to sway the refs publicly would have been enough for the Giants for one week. Apparently, Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz didn't think so. Nicks said publicly that he 'expects to get held every play' this week. Cruz, also wanted to share his concerns about the Steelers and their "holding". From the article: "It’s pretty blatant how they do it," Cruz said, via Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger. "Some of it’s not being called, and some of it is, so we just have to be prepared to fight through it no matter what happens. And no matter what the down and distance is, expect to be held, expect to be grabbed and just continue to fight."

    sure it will help.

    the giants seemed awefully worried about us. trying to find an edge somehow. they know they are in trouble with a center thats playing hurt and all these LB'ers out. i have felt very good about us this week. i haven't had that feeling this year. i think we match up well with the G-spots. :herewego: :popcorn: :matrix: :stogie: :cool:

    They are pretty well known for appealing to the refs in various ways before games. It's what they do.

    Geeeeeeese How Football has changed :facepalm: Let's take Cruz and Nicks and have them play against the likes of Mel Blount instead of guys like Ike Taylor..Getting held would be the least of there problems! :rawk: I really hope we press these guys! if we give there guys that nice 10-12 free release were gonna have a long day

    Last game, Cruz was calling for a flag each time he wasn't able to catch the balls thrown his way.
    Look for him to do the same now.

    It's been 4 or 5 weeks they've been doing that.
    And all that stuff has made Rex Ryan the quietest guy in NY... and that says something.

    One thing I will say as much as it pains me to because I am probably the biggest Giants hater on this board is....... Well Ike DOES hold quite a bit. He IS a crappy corner and usually does hold. That being said if you aint cheatin' you aint tryin' and as long as we win I don't care what he does. LOL.

    Disagree .. Ike is not as bad as people like to make him out to be. No he is not Woodson but he is very good at taking the best receiver on the team and shutting them down. He has a bad game here and there and all receivers and corners cheat a bit..
