No you're not happy to help. You're happy trying to play hall monitor and chastise people for doing stuff you don't like. You'll probably put a dislike or against the rules on this post.

Not long term, and we aren’t going anywhere this year. He serves no function starting.

I said all along if we got Ben from the first 11 weeks that we could have a good season. Ben after week 11 would be a dumpster fire and thats what we have.

I agree with you to a certain extent. I'm just saying that neither Rudolph nor Haskins seem like the answer either unfortunately. The QB situation is just brutal. The Steelers have no short term nor long term answer.

yep im there now, i just don't care to see ben in any longer. we have been spoiled for sure and i remember the 80's very well and we could be facing that again. but at this point let others play we weren't going to go far this year anyway so let mason and haskins at it. either we find something or only get a few wins and can look to the draft. i

would absolutely hate to to win 7-9 games this year with ben. doesn't help anything.

At this point I’m thinking gain what you can. I’m not trying to win this year, I’m aiming for 2023 or 2024. Develop either Rudolph or Haskins into an experienced backup with good game experience. Then if our new starter, whoever that is, goes down for a game or two, which he will, we have decent backup to go in.

Before we bench Ben, we should treat him like a rookie. Call plays that you would expect a rookie QB to make. If he cannot do that then cut him. If our starting QB cannot perform the basics that is expected from a rookie then he doesn’t deserve a roster spot.

What will happen this season is Ben will still start every game barring injury. Steelers won't deviate from the "plan"

Paul Zeise has a good saying, there are glaciers that move faster than the Steelers making a big change.

Just being honest ... I don't really care about what happens this year. I couldn't go to a game last year due to COVID.

I'm just happy I got tickets and I'll be able to see #7 one last time. I'll worry about competing next year. Things are going to change big time in the offseason.

The writing was on the wall at the end of last season. Its not going to get better. He is now questioning his throwing motion, his throws. Really listen to his post game presser. He is beaten.

Art II is the blame. Should have told Ben were going to move forward without you and thanks for all you have brought to the Pittsburgh Steelers. You are a 1st ballot Hall of Famer and will retire a Pittsburgh Steeler.

He is playing this bad at game 4. GAME 4!

But as Duke stated he will probably start unless he gets a major injury. I've been saying the same thing.

I would have a collective pow wow between all parties with Art II during the bye week and put Rudolph in.

They have the donkeys and sea chickens coming into Heinz before. Denver was embarrassed by the crows and will be looking for a rebound game.

I agree that they should bench Roethlisberger. I'm not sure that Rudolph will do much better. I doubt it. I don't think he can handle the pressure that comes with playing behind that line, but Roethlisberger can't even make plays consistently enough when he isn't under pressure. He isn't just making terrible throws. He's making terrible reads. He got his team a lead on the opening drive, then gave them no chance to win the rest of the way.
