Seahawks are close to going up 14-0!! If they can steal a win today we should look good coming off of the bye and we will have a good chance to take the division back.

The Ravens just look good against us... they just come with more heart and hate then we do

Maybe that is what we need to start doing. With every game we play.

Would love to see Coach Hairball have a total meltdown on the sidelines after Flacco's 3rd pick. One can only hope! :praying:

I think it is a Trap game. That's why I picked the chickens in the pick me thread. They are due for a letdown after last week.

Was thinking the same thing. It's like they focused so hard on beating us that they forgot about the other 30 teams out there.

It's because WE are their Super Bowl. They have had it in their heads that they could not beat us. The media constantly here in Maryland talks about how we own them. After being up 21-7 last year at half in the playoffs and them losing, they stewed on it all summer! We are all they and their crappy fans talk about. I get a big kick out of it. Now, I will gladly lose to regular season games to them only to knock them out of the playoffs for the fourth time.... Let's make it happen!

:this!: I have friends and coworkers who have done nothing but pull up highlights of last Sunday's game against us and rail on about how sweet it is to sweep the Steelers. All week long! Whatever! I told them they better watch out for the sorry teams and quit worrying about us. Look what happened tonight---again! They prepared for us in the offseason to the exclusion of everyone else. :roflmao:

:lolol: It sure looks that way. I've read where they are at scouting events and ask questions like 'how can you help us beat the Steelers' and 'how will you handle playing at Heinz field in November'. Think they should be asking 'how will you help us make it to the Superbowl or be the #1 seed in the AFC' etc. That tunnel vision seems to be a fatal flaw of theirs.

This pretty much sums up today's game vs the SeaChickens. Get your popcorn ready for next week's Bengals/Rats celebrity deathmatch. The Rats and Bungles will be fighting for their playoff lives. In the words of Weezy Jefferson, ""We're moving on up ..." :superman:

As a West-Coaster, I was AT the Seahawks game against the Ravens today (finally something Steelers and Seahawks fans can agree on -- BEAT THE RAVENS..... oh, that and yes.... there was nothing wrong with the officiating at Super Bowl XL -- get over it. It was 6 freaking years ago). Flacco looked flat, receivers were dropping balls, and the crowd was in the game from beginning to end. Seattle is NEVER an easy place to play -- I think it has been over 20 years since Pittsburgh won there. Of course, the series where the Hawks got called for about 7 defensive penalties, I thought the fans would storm the field (then they remembered their team was 2-6 so went back into general semi-drunken ambivalence). I was amazed at how much time Jackson had in the pocket and how little a factor Ray Lewis was. With a mediocre offense, if the defense isn't producing and scoring points, the Ravens have a problem. They still have the inside track right now to the AFC North, but I feel a lot better about our chances....

Thank God our bye week is finally here. Get healthy, guys!!!! And props to Gay!!!!!

:this!: This is EXACTLY what is going on, playa. I was listening to Zack and Jack (Fox Sports Radio), this morning, and they reported the Ravens have lost both games that follow games where they beat the Steelers. Zack even said that after the 2nd game against us, the Ravens were in the locker room talking about how they were vindicated. What? Zack and Jack even went on to speak about how the Ravens merely prepped to beat the Steelers, whereas the Steelers prep to win the Superbowl. Jack continued by stating that the reason the Steelers are more elite than the Ravens is because NFL teams should beat the teams they're supposed to beat and not be so inconsistent. The Steelers beat the teams they should beat, and win some of the tough games against formidable opponents. This consistency is why the Ravens have beaten the Steelers twice, but the Steelers are half-game ahead of them, and at the top of the division, for this week. And get this: Zack called Ben the "Godfather" of the QBs in the division. It was good to hear someone give Ben some props.

I think the Bengals can beat the Ravens. I think they can take at least one game from them. Steelers need to win out. But I realize the 2nd Bengals game may be tough, and the 49ers game will be, as well. Still, the Steelers need to go 4-2 in the division.

I feel positive the Steelers can go 13-3 as long as they stay focused, the offense eliminates a few mistakes, and the O-Line holds (generally they do get better at the end of the season and going into the playoffs).

HERE WE GO STEELERS!! HERE WE GO!!!!
