This is starting to look like Terry Bradshaw, circa 1983. Time to come to grips that any week may be the end of Big Ben's career in the NFL.

Perhaps you should stop drinking and go on a diet. I assumed you were talking about yourself. I don't drink.

In a way it's actually kind of sad because you're right. Ben is not leaving with a nice easy retirement. Unfortunately he is going out with an injury and it may be a serious one. Ben does not have a year for the oline to gel

He is not in the league for a reason. He's washed as well and really just was a stat machine like McFlab. 5-7 in playoff wins. We have an aging QB already.

But defenses eventually adjusted and we've been in a loop for 8-9 games now. Ben can't move nor can he throw downfield, and he completely ignores the deep middle. It's an easy offense to defend now.

Also - defensive rankings of the teams they scored on before the offense went south, points per game:

    9th, 25th, 27th, 20th, 21st, 24th, 2nd, 28th, 22nd, 31st.

They scored 28 against the 2nd ranked Ravens, 7 coming on a pick-6, 7 more coming on a 21-yard drive.

That's a bit strong as far as i'm concerned. His myriad of injuries have taken their toll yes and I feel that hinders his play.

I was one who did not want to bring him back. They could have gone the season with Rudolph. A losing season wouldn't be a bad thing to position them better in the draft to grab the next franchise QB, !st round.

Hopefully Art II says goodbye and Ben retires. Or maybe some team will sign a beaten QB. Who knows. There are a few on the open market now.

He thought he could give it the old college try. He knew what he was going to get. Plus one more money grab.

Last years offensive line did no better but at least they had the mental game with diminishing physical challenges. This line is neither at this point except for the 2nd spitter. I feel they will gel eventually but father time is not going be patient.

The thing is, Roethlisberger was moving fairly well early last season. That ended when he hurt both knees against Dallas. He wasn't accurate enough on the deep ball, though I don't think he was avoiding the middle of the field quite as much as he is now.

Games against all sorts of defenses count. The argument that the offense has been terrible for years simply isn't true. It ignores those early contests in 2020.

He can stay healthy, unlike big Ben. So what would you do?

Well then you haven't been paying attention because I've mentioned it multiple times in the past.

I would start Haskins until Ben gets mad and buys a pontoon boat and takes up fishing and drinking on Sunday’s

You maybe correct(I hope not), but I believe at 1-1, and 2 have lost 2 the same team the ravens have with only 2 games in...is a little premature 2 be freaking out. JMO

I'm starting to think steelersrule6 is in fact popcorn himself because he tolerates no criticism of Tomlin ever.

We are not the only team that's defense has helped a team, and has helped a team score. You would be surprised at how many teams defenses have helped. Why are You acting like We are the only ones???

As I pointed out, it couldn't be me because I don't drink. I'm not denying the fat part. Stupid is relative and subjective. Of course, there is far more evidence of your stupidity and I'm far more intelligent than you, but that isn't saying much.

The elbow injury hinders his throwing down field. Now the pectoral muscle injury will hinder his arm coming back to throw the ball. He will now have to throw it all under hand.

Ben said he felt fine and was rarin' to go when he was wrangling for a new contract. Now he looks like Grandpa Moses getting up off the turf with that pained expression on his face.

Let him stay at home on the couch.

    I would start Rudolph.

And realistically this is not going to be one of those Ben gets a ring and walks away years like Bettis. Its a retirement tour sponsored by Art II.

He was under contract this past offseason. He took a pay cut to stay. There is plenty of legitimate reason to criticize Roethlisberger without making things up.
