Predict the score game Week 2 Pittsburgh vs Las Vegas

Welcome to 10th edition of thesteelersfans.com Steelers Predict the Score Game.

Follow the rules below and make your prediction. I'll publish the results


after the game in a post on this thread. There will be 2 ways to win (a


weekly winner and a yearly winner).



This weeks Game is:



Pittsburgh vs Las Vegas



This week's tiebreaker is total rushing yards by the Steelers.

The rules are simple. Whoever predicts the correct winner with the


score closest to the actual score wins. For example if the score is


Pittsburgh 28 Cincinnati 21 The method of determining your score is


to take the value of the difference of your guess of the Pittsburgh score


and the value of the difference of your guess of the opponent score.


You also must pick the correct winner to make your pick valid. In case


of a tie, the tiebreaker is used.


For example if TTFs prediction is 35-21 Steelers he would be 7 points


from the actual score…..35-28=7 21-21=0 7+0=7.


If Ray Ds prediction is 30-18 Steelers he would be 5 points from the


score and he would beat TTF………30-28=2 21-18=3 2+3=5. If either


had picked the Bengals they would have automatically lost due to the


fact that they were not the winning team.


In the unlikely event of a tie (YES Donovan it could happen) we will


just go with closest to the actual score.


I will be awarding points for the first 10 places and including a bonus


of 3 additional points for making a perfect prediction. I will track


cumulative point totals and the number of times you make the top 10.


This contest will end after the steelers last game of the season.


The deadline to make your picks is 1 minute before the scheduled kickoff.

So let me get this straight, we will rush for 200 yards and not only lose the game but lose it big. What is in that water in Texas??????

 

How come I'm not in the points standings. I predicted a win last week

 

I picked the same way for the Buffalo game and Steelers won. If me making lousy picks causes the Steelers win, I’m sticking with making lousy picks. I even used the same score. Just had to change the yardage.

I'm gonna delay my prediction until I can see them tonight against the Rats. Hopefully they beat BMore but don't look too good doing it.

Unfortunately u had to be within 9 points of the actual score to be in the top 10. I only take the top 10 closest scores to the actual score. It looks like if my math is correct U were 12 points from the actual score and in 14th place.
