I thought the Oline played better in the 2nd half. Hopefully they can improve as the season progresses. Chucks will probably be replaced next season.

    Winners:
Matt Canada, he didn’t abandon the run when down by 10

    TJ Watt
    Ingram
    Fitzpatrick
    Sutton
    Pierre
    DJ
OLine - not a perfect day, but they gave Ben enough time to throw. Not every team they play has as good a defense as the Bills did.

    Losers:
The cocky, think they’re already in the AFC Championship game, Buffalo Bills.

Tre Norwood played better then expected. Pierre was okay but kept giving way to Diggs and giving him too much room which Diggs kept getting first downs. This may be a scheme thing, but come on this was happening last year too. Give the rookie some help. TJ, Ingram Highsmith, Heywood, Sutton, outstanding. Chucks got worse from last year.

3 tackles- 2 sacks, 1 tackle for loss. 5 qb hits.
Makes a difference when they actually call holding.

3 out of 4 pregame announcers thought Bills going to the super bowl. I just don't see it, their running game is not that good, especially without Josh Allen running.

I did, too. It wasn't a world class performance, but when the chips were down, they were scrappy as hell.

This is a good thread, I would also salute Miles Killebrew for his huge block (full disclosure- as you can guess by my avatar and username, I am historically partial to Steelers backup DBs who also played for the Lions and are good on special teams.)

Stefon Diggs is, IMO, the best WR in the league and probably heading to Canton someday as an invited, jacketed guest. He's the biggest weapon the Bills have and he did not beat us, so I give Pierre his due today. He'll get better and the guys he has to cover won't be as good.

I`m willing to give o-Line a pass for a couple weeks and wait on them to gel.

He didn't get a chance to eat like he did in last season's game, did he? The Steelers didn't completely neutralize him, but they minimized his impact.

It’s not going to get a lot of attention, but that scramble by Ben on 1st and 16 was key to the Offense extending the drive and setting up the game clinching FG

The fire seems to be back and, if it stays lit, we will be dangerous

I would add Cam Heyward in as well. He was an absolute beast all game and opened it up for Watt. Friermuth, he should be starting over Ebron in my opinion. He threw a few strong blocks.

You got that right. I looked on their forum and they were complaining that the officials were against them. They even posted a picture of an official with black and gold striped shirt and a Steelers cap looking into a monitor. It is symptomatic of a loser to blame the officials for being biased against their team. I saw a LOT more holding by the Bills than was actually called, which is symptomatic of an overmatched oline.

    Another loser:
O'Chloraform did not look good and I wonder if they will sign a vet and cut him if he has a similar showing next week? I don’t know who is available (translation:affordable) out there. A decent tackle on a team going nowhere, to fill in for a year.

They’re not cutting Chucks if he has a bad game. Get serious man.
