    Sounds like some animosity from Ben about Colbert. Many of us felt Colbert didn’t want him back, I’d say that was accurate and why the contract took so long because as far as the numbers go, it was easy to do.

    I think Bens return next season will hinge largely on whether Colbert stays or moves on.



    I also felt Bens recent comments about paying TJ was directed at Colbert and not Rooney.

    If we have a winning season, He will be back. If We suck , or He gets a bad injury He won't. I think it's pretty simple. JMO

    Colbert is the GM and he didn’t want to bring him back this year. So I wouldn’t lock Ben in after another year older and wear and tear.

    I have a hunch Rooney overruled Colbert, will he do that again? Time will tell.
