Season Tickets

I could not believe my eyes today when I got the email that I had finally been awarded season tickets. It only took 23 years, but damn it sure does feel good....expensive, but good!

I received the email too, I was shocked same as you. Sadly I had to pass.

COVID hasn't been kind to me this past year. I'm not in a position financially to purchase any right now.

I was shocked how relatively affordable they were too. You can buy seat licenses on the Ticket Exchange at any time, but they are marked up 200%-300%.

Really hope you use them. I have a friend who is the most avid fan I know. He goes to a ton of games home and away and he never has trouble getting a ticket. Reason being that season ticket holders always sell them to him at a profit of course.

I'm not sure, obviously there is a financial aspect, but a lot of Season Ticket members probably have had them in the family for years. Some might be traveling long distances for each game. I suspect they are probably getting older and figure it isn't worth it anymore either financially or just as a risk to their health. I don't know?

 

Probably few. We were allowed to give up the tickets for one year with no penalty

Yep, I got the same email and had to pass as well.

I signed up on the waiting list in March 2005 I believe. 16 f'in years I waited, and when the time came I couldn't make it happen. I was single and 24 years old when I signed up; 40 now with six year old twins with autism, life changed quite a bit since then...

 

Being as you're the de facto Prez of Franco's Army, I say we start a "Go Fund Me" account for Da Stellars. I'm sure #32 would match anything we can raise. Or maybe better yet this falls under the Moratorium on Evictions statute (I know, I know it just expired).

 

And jealousy rears its ugly head. Congrats, I guess.

Well, that sucks. Sorry to hear it.

 

Along with the pandemic, one thing that may happen for others to get their tickets is for the next QB to bomb after Ben's retirement. If anyone believes it would be as long a wait as it was for Bradshaw to Ben, season tickets will be readily available.

 

That's honestly part of my decision. It's not realistic to get to many games from 600 miles away, and I'm not sure I'd even break even every year with selling tickets.

 

The fact that after you buy the PSL's, you HAVE to still buy season tickets every year, is BS. After shelling that much money out, you should be able to do whatever you want. If you don't wish to purchase them from time to time, then sell them to someone else during the general public sales.
