Okay, Im glad I wasnt the only one thinking that after reading his post....The Giants (even though they won), were all raving about what an amazing player RG3 is. I hope DL comes up with something totally different and unexpected to throw the rookie off....

Hope he's kidding, that had to be sarcasm  Hats off to our D for last game but I'll need to see more of that before I'm ready to crown them. Come on LeBeau, shut this rookie down! :clapping:

true, but before the cinci game the other teams only needed 3 mins or less to score a TD.. Is Pitts back, or is cinci really that bad, they dropped a lot of passes too. RG thought the rams D was dirty, he hasn't seen anything yet. lol

I really believe by losing 3 games and with Steeler Nation speaking out they are back to Steeler football...am amazed how the backups / rookies are stepping up and doing a good job! This would really be a good weekend for Troy to return against RG3 but even so i'm not sure Troy would last 60 mins with his on going calf issue. LETS STACK SOME WINS...HERE WE GO!!!!!!!

Forget all of this RG3 hype, his record says he has won 3 games and lost 4, if he was really superman like all the hype makes him out to be he would be 7-0 right now, Vick was supposed to be the second coming, last year it was Cam Newton and this year it's griffin, two out of the 3 second comings have turned into flops this year and griffins 3-4 record says he isnt nothing special, if lebeau cant watch 7 game films on this kid and get his tendencies down pat on down and distance then he is sleeping on the job, I worry more about the skins defense than I do on this new superman with a losing record...Two of griffins losses was to the rams and bengals, if they could beat the skins certainly we can...

I believe we should see a good dose of the dime defense taking foote out. We need to see a lot of speed out there. This puts a lot of pressure on our D-Line to get the job done. We saw plenty of dime against the bengals and it worked even though we were giving up some yardage on the ground.

It's all about discipline on defence. Keep him contained don't allow him to get outside your defence. He will make mistakes.

Todd Haley will keep him on the bench if the players do what he says. Todd Haley is our TRUE defensive coordinator this week. Lebeau is just a decoy. They are gonna be gameplanning for the blitz all week and then we are gonna hit 'em with about a 40min Time Of Possession and the rookie will just have to watch in amazement as Ben keeps the clock moving by "dinking and dunking" up and down the field. Atleast this is my fantasy. And since we're on that topic I suppose Jennifer Aniston will come over to watch the game with me too.

The Redskins are the 29th ranked D. They give up over 28 pts per game. They also average being on the field for 29 min per game. They give up 328yds per game through the air and have allowed 16td's to be passed on them. On the ground though they are ranked 7th and only give up 85yds per game and have only allowed 5 rushing td's. So I hope I'm safe in assuming that we see a healthy dose of Ben. I highly doubt we are gonna be able to run on them as well as we can throw on them based on those numbers. But I've not looked at who they've played to see if maybe that has something to do with why they can't stop the pass but have had success against the run. I know just this past week that Eli lit them up for a 77yd bomb to Cruz so hopefully Mike Wallace brings Hines Ward's hands with him this week and maybe he can have a big break out game.

Sounds familiar. I was at that game too for the old man's birthday! You're right, I've been nothing but impressed with RGIII (and was sure he was going to be a bust compared to Luck, but I'll admit when I'm wrong). That touchdown run was incredible. He's well beyond a rookie in the way he plays and we could have some real trouble containing him. And to think just last year I was all over the old man's case about how I don't worry about the Skins because they stink! And you're right about Morris, and add the fact that Cooley is back.

As for our house on Sunday, we may be sleeping in separate rooms by the end of the night. :D

The skins have the same problem the Steelers have, porr defense. They should have a winning record, their D gives up the lead in the 4th qtr the same as we do. I'm worried, and the reason is RG3 like to move to the right, we all know how it looks when teams run right, Ziggy gets pancaked and the runners are averaging8 yards a carry. Add to the fact that he has mobility which mean the secondary has to cover even longer and that spells disaster, I can see multiple holding/PI calls happening this game as well as a high score. I truly think that if the Steelers win the toss they need to take the ball and score every possession because that is the only way I see for them to win this as they really can't stop anyone, that performance against the Bengals wasn't good, had they stuck to the run to the right with Green Ellis and mixed in the pass we would be 2-4. I really hope I'm wrong and the defense comes up big with 5 sacks and 3 interceptions and 2 forced fumbles recovered and we blow them out 35-3 but just a squeak by win would be nice right now too.

Sitting here thinking.... more so the latter. Our defence will have to giddy up on speed sunday its going to be a crap shoot to read/spy RG3 I don't even think he knows half the time its going to be alot of confusion for sure!

You defeat the Skins by outscoring them. That needs to be our plan this week, because they will score.

Our defense played great against the Bengals, but was that a fluke? We'll see but chances are RG3 is going to put up some points. That is where Ben comes in. Score 35 to 40 points and we win. Ben will be the difference, good or bad, not RG3 :D
