My neighbors invited me to climb up on top of their silo to watch the fireworks. I suggested to them that by the time fireworks go off tonight it will be best if I keep my feet real close to the ground.

Happy 4th from Ketchikan! I was amazed that they closed the main road so they could do a parade. Floats, candy being thrown to the crowd, people lining both sides of the street….. small town America! Good to see!

When I was in Europe as a young punk some of the punks of their respected country gave us some **** so I kindly reminded them they would all be speaking German if not for us. Should bad things ever go down again it is the young men of America who they would rely on.

 

Right now there are 330 million people residing in the USA. I was speaking to those people specifically and all the others currently working their way into the country, legally and non legally.

The rest of the world can bite me if they hate my country.

 

I had a roommate from China in college one year. I would ask him if he's going back when he was done donating to Indiana University. He said absolutely that he had to go back to help his country. He was as passionate about his birth place as most of us are about the US of A. Communism was just part of his times he said, but his people have overcome much more horrific government. God Bless America.

Was in China years ago, tourist stuff, and it was a tad bit scary. IMO they were to stiff about life and they seemed to live in fear. They also write funny and I don't find their females attractive but obviously the Chinese men do if population is any indication.
