I agree in general, especially when a team has a lot of other holes. If the Steelers were a complete team lacking a feature back, I'd be fine with taking Harris and trying to win now, but they're not. They lack depth everywhere but WR, have holes at TE, CB, OL, and have no QBs under contract for 2022.

Put talent on the line(and this is a deep O lineman draft.) I won't even mind giving Tackle Center Tackle. Especially if Walker little Is available in the 3rd.

A Darrisaw, Creed, Little draft would be fine by me. Then take the Other Carolina RB Carter in the 4th. I agree with Phil Simms, he is grossly underrated.

I think he is Ettiene without the excess carries.

Drafting those mid round RBs hasn't worked out for them, Snell, Samuels, McFarland none of them are a #1 RB.

I do not understand why people are looking for the Steelers to draft a tackle, especially in the first. Doing so would indicate that they have little to no faith in Chuks or Banner. Banner has been their guy for a long time and Chuks was a third round pick that just started practically an entire season. Any reason to believe they do not like their guys or is it just a personal wish?

As far as I am concerned: When it comes to o-line it is center or nothing in the first 2 rounds.

Several beat guys that were able to attend practices last year said Banner was easily the best offensive lineman and gave TJ a torrid time throughout. Problem is we haven’t seen it on the field because he got injured unfortunately. I think they like him a lot and they like Chuks too, much more than the fans do. I’m not sure they see Tackle as the glaring need that many of us fans do.

I don't care which one; they are both Seniors coming from Elite Programs that should be ready to produce from Day 1.

Just give these guys the ball and watch them run.

Although you may have to give Etienne the edge if the RB's are forced to run out of Ben's shotgun formation. Once they get rid of Ben then Harris will probably be your better true Steeler RB.

Put on any Alabama tape, you won't see alot of Tua or Mac Jones under center turning around to hand the ball off to Harris.

The more I watch, the more I'm convinced Najee Harris is RB1.

Banner is on his 4th team in 4 years and only played a handful of snaps before his knee exploded in a non-contact play. There's good reason not to simply trust him on blind faith.

Would love a draft like this. The Hogs were born in Washington in basically one draft.

They simply cannot be serious about being a contending team with Banner, Okorafor, and Finney as OL starters.

You're really trying to compare the two , the Steelers are looking for a feature back, 5'8 Carter ain't it.

    I'm just saying you can't dismiss a RB because he's 5'8.

Finney is likely to be a backup, not a starter.

You can if he's not what they're looking for, he can be a complimentary RB for some team, but he's not a fit for the Steelers.

Depends a lot on how this draft goes. If the Steelers do not find a starting center, Finney is likely to end up the starter.

They still need to draft a LT, this draft is deep and Chuks is a free agent after the season.

There is no reason for them to come out of this draft without a center, I expect them to draft one within the first 3 rounds.

doesn't mean he will be the better back. ryan leaf was the second qb taken one year. means nothing where you are drafted. bell wasn't a first round pick and was one of the best in the league when he was here. if you are going by draft position you are way off base.

I guess we will have to wait and see, my money is on Williams being the better NFL player.

You know Williams is almost 3 inches taller, yet only 11 pounds heavier. That kind of stuff matters.
    I personally like both.

I personally think he can do just about anything Etienne can.

That being said, I am the #1 fan of the Najee Harris fan club.

But I'd rather take Carter in round 3 than Etienne in round 1.

I prefer Harris over Etienne, but no way would I want Carter over Etienne.
