I think he was more of a pass catching TE, and he's undersized.

I’m glad he didn’t have a large body of work, scared a lot of people off. He always seemed like such a sure thing to me and others here. With the success he had and how tenacious he plays and the bloodlines, knew he’d be good.

Or that they looked his injury history while playing TE and just assumed that would mean his pro career would have issues. I thank a Packers fan I work with every time I see him that the Packers passed on TJ. That 1st preseason game vs the Giants was a wake up call for everyone that slept on him.

Yes, now all they have to do is resign Big Al, and it will be a RB in the 1st.

Hopefully with Dobbs making 4 QBs under contract we will no longer hear about the Steelers drafting a QB.

Lol...YES .. Let's bring back ALL the players we cut, because they Stink...THEN...When nobody else wants them, bring them back lol...

And...I highly doubt the Steelers were going to draft a QB anyhow...So how does bringing back a 4th string, sucky QB...Who nobody else wanted....Have any bearing on whether the Steelers would draft a QB or not?

It's now time for Mike Hilton to announce that he changed his mind, and will be returning to the Steelers for a reduced salary. :hehehe:

Clowney to the Browns is official. He and Garrett should make a good pair.

He's not as disruptive as he once was, but he's still a handful. And opposite Garrett, he makes them even nastier.

Yeah Clowney will get a lot of one on one opportunities and clean up sacks etc. I don’t think Clowney is elite by any means but he is going in to a very nice situation there.

Woah!! Those are Bud Dupree numbers right there!!

Joking aside, I think his production is more situational than ability. Playing opposite Garrett will help his average. Lock it in.

No clue why they resigned Dobbs.. He's not going to be anything but a clipboard holder if he makes the team. Training camp arm? No clue

Why? A true RB is one of the only positions that can produce day 1.

Not a pass catching RB, or blocking back, but just give them the ball and let them run RB is what this team needs. The 2 top backs in the draft will put up over 1,000 yards next year for this team.

You could take a CB, or a Tackle and wait 3 years to see them perform at the top of NFL game, or you could take a RB and watch him perform next year at the top of his game.

Both Harris and Etienne are Seniors and they are going to be ready to produce Day 1.

Yes, but a RB in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Because you are now set for camp with 4 Arms. No reason to waste a late round pick on another lame Duck QB.

I don't know the rules on the practice squad this year, if veterans will be allowed again. Dobbs and Haskins will be competing for the #3 QB position, with the loser going to the PS, if Dobbs is eligible.

That assumes Haskins makes it to camp without being tempted into stupidity. So unless Tunch and Ben are his new best friends I'm leaning toward stupidity winning out
