Whats this say about Mason if this is legit. They bring in Haskins and now might, key word might be interested in Bridgewater.

I’d definitely take him as a back up though, be the best one they’ve had since the Batch days.

Oh and sign him, sign everyone!

Sorry I stole your thunder :taunt:

I doubt this is true, Bridgewater had a pretty big contract with Carolina, if he was released then I would take him over Haskins.

Doesn’t make much sense. His contract and won’t come here to be a 3rd string.

I just give it a little merit because of King.

If it happens, bad news for Mason.

The Broncos seem to be the likely destination.

I just looked at his numbers, I doubt there will be many teams trading for him, they’ll wait for him to be released.

Bridgewater takes one step forward, two steps back.

He won't be a #3 if he came in. So what would you do with Rudolph? Trade him? Keep Haskins as a #3? Or add one in the draft? Or it's, sorry Mason, your #3 on the chart. Here is your clipboard.

I feel they are over Rudolph. His 4th year. UFA after the 21 season. No speak of an extension. Plus they brought back Ben. He won't see the field unless Ben gets injured. If Bridgewater is here, he won't see the field.

He was very disappointing in Carolina. I was expecting a coming out party based on all the praise he got in NO. Makes me wonder if Winston is getting the same unwarranted hype.

Yeah. I wouldn't take Bridgewater . He's not better than what we have backing up Ben. You talk about a weak arm. Hell. I don't even like the name....Bridgewater. It's like Planeair, Carroad, Hathead, Boatpond, or Guitarstrings. LoL. Ok Guitarstrings sounds good.
Disclaimer: If anyone has these before mentioned names....no at Me.

Carolina is just a bad team for a QB, that simple. Newton had the same problem, fewer capable receivers to throw to. Two different QBs same issue makes the case. Bridgewater excelled in NO because they had several notable receivers to throw the ball to.
Carolina hasn't had a scary receiver since Steve Smith but blame the QB for their woes. Sad.

King is guessing based on his perceived need for the team, there is no substance to it. That crazy contract the Panthers gave Bridgewater means he is not an option whatsoever for the Steelers, if Peter King did even the most basic research he would know that.

I think their QB room is set with Ben, Mason and Haskins, they may take a mid to late round flyer on a QB in the draft but I don’t expect any other significant moves.

Funny how suck, sorry my bad , some QBs just never seem 2 have Wrs. Sad.
    Funny.
Favre, both Mannings, Ben, Wilson, Brees, Rodgers, and Brady (I could name more) just seem 2 always, or mostly make what ever Wrs they have work. Then you have these other excuse making Qb , that no matter how many 1st round Wrs. they get just don't seem 2 work.
As far as Bridgewater's playing in NO. So he had some good games. I've yet 2 see him string together a great season yet. He's a journeyman. 3 teams already. Now they are talking about making it 4. As for Cam ...I may not have seen a Qb get so many excuses from people in my entire life. If there has been ....I surely can't think of one. I'm sure L. Jackson will be right behind him.

I think Teddy Bridgewater would be a great backup for a team that already has a franchise QB in place.

I don't think that place will be here. If this happens then I think it's safe to say the Steelers are not high at all on Rudolph.

Not here to debate you on this buddy, I don't have a dog in the fight, just made an observation. If you think the WR Corps at Carolina and NO are comparable, more power to ya. The QBs you mentioned had a very formidable receiving corps at their disposal and are HOFers.
