Steelers' defense is getting plundered in FA

Keep in mind he is 33 years old and had knee problems last year. Those two things probably had a lot to do with it.

 

Seems like the Steelers are getting their players pay days, from other teams.

The entire starting 11 is here if you're willing to count Davis and Spillane as starters. There is very little depth though. You could make an argument they need 4-7 more defenders. We have 8 draft picks, serious needs on Offense, and no money.

 

Cap space is easily obtainable if needed.

Really! I was wrong then. I thought we lost one not getting the 6th rd. Comp pick.

 

We were looking at 9. We picked up Baltimore's 7th rounder when we traded them a 5th for Wormley. We also have Miami's as a result of the Minkah trade, but gave ours to Tampa Bay in the Gerald Hawkins trade. Our sixth rounder is actually from Tampa Bay, as we traded our sixth to Miami (see above).
