He will have a long list of suitors, there are a lot of teams with more money looking for a Center. I think they roll with Finney, Hassenauer and a draft pick.

Every team has the same cap so could you explain why it seems we are usually in worse shape than over half of the other teams? I think that was the jest of the question earlier. Could be we gambled kicking the can down the road and a virus kicked our azz? JMO>

If you have a QB and your GM is any good you are not going to have any cap space most years, and if you do it is used up paying the guys you have drafted and developed.

Generally teams splurging in free agency have bad rosters, or are coming out of a rebuild where they have torn down their teams, ie Patriots. I can’t think of a team that has had sustained success doing this.

USUALLY...The Steelers like to resign " their own " They usually don't go for the big money players ( from other teams ) But have given a boatload of money to it's "own" star " players over the years

haden, nelson were free agent pick ups. haden got an extension. cam heyward, tuitt, ben all got paid. decastro is in the final year of his contract which isn't cheap. we have over 12 million in dead cap money. two retirements are not free, we just lose the player and still pay. our first round draft pick of watt is in his 5th year option year which costs over 10 million. we resigned sutton. finney, hassenauer, mccloud and reworked derek watts contract, signed spillane and banner. ebron was added last year, he's not cheap. haskins. collins. allen. all these players add up.

Hudson was actually traded to AZ in the end, I thought I read that he had been released but seemingly not.

Raiders had a excellent line last year for the first time in a long time and they have dismantled it almost entirely in the space of a week. Rough

If they buy like my wife did then the entire cart would be filled with the same discount product. And like most discount products works out like crap.
