When will Steelers win a playoff game ?

We did... in the regular season...

Broncos held the Steelers to 16, Patriots to 18, and panthers to 10.

Elite defenses take over in the playoffs or at least have an impact, not give up 40+ at home lol.

 

Especially with everything going around right now

One QB can't get through 1 season without getting hurt
One QB is a one trick pony and can't carry a team in the clutch
One QB is too stupid to get any better and is currently all he is ever going to be
That only leaves Ben (if healthy) as being the best

You remember we played them in the playoffs with No AB who at the time was not only our # 1 Wr, but our Punt returner, Bell was out (injured again), his backup also was out( DeAngelo Williams), and we played with a RB at the time I knew very little about. Still if we don't have that fumble by that RB, We very well might have Won.

 

Bet you thought Cam Newton was best in his Division also.
You know when a Qb that runs around like a chicken with his head cut off everytime his 1st read is covered, will win a SB?
When that's all we have in the NFL.
Otherwise the slower Guy that had 2 actually learn 2 play Qb will always dominate the position.
Also no P. Maholmes, or R . Wilsons please.....they are QBs that can run, not QBs that must run,or i.e....Running Qbs.

 

No I don't think Art Rooney II will ever fire Mike Tomlin and it has nothing to do with Dan Rooney's push to see minority coaching candidates given the experience and opportunity to interview for a head coaching or coordinators job. It also has zero to do with Tomlin being African-American. AR2 won't fire him because it's not the Rooney way. They don't make knee jerk reactions, the don't bow to fan pressure(thank god) mostly and they have a proven methodology that allows the maximum amount continuity. Tomlin will continue to get 2 year extension which will allow both sides to part ways amicably if Tomlin loses his fire or coaching falls into the Grand Canyon.

Hell no. Cam was in the same division as Drew brees. Lamar isn't like cam. He isn't a power runner. He doesn't take the punishment cam took. Lamar isn't the best passer but a capable one. He has shown improvement in that department. He's actually YOUNGER than burrow. He will only get better as the game slows down for him

Nah cam wasn't lamar as a runner. Two different styles. Cam thoguh was a very good player I don't see why you brining him up like he was a bum.

How bad does he need to be then to get canned? Is missing the playoffs twice and getting embarrassed by inferior teams and outcoached twice in the playoffs over the past 4 years not enough to be shown the door? It should be enough to demonstrate that he isn't capable of bringing Pittsburgh another title. Hell, that kind of 4 year post season performance got Reid fired in Philly.

But, yes I believe you're right. Tomlin won't get fired and I don't see it having anything to do with race but everything to do with owners satisfied with mediocrity and good enough.

I'm in this camp also. Joe Burrow is going to be an excellent QB in this league I have no doubt. He's already been impressive.
