Did you see those two whiney beeyotches Thursday night? I'll take Tomlin over those 2 any season. I'd be embarrassed to be a 9er or a Seahawk fan.

Harbaugh's act is painful to watch.

Remember when he was on the field with his father at a Raven's game? Brother John was screaming at the officials but so was brother Jim who had no business saying anything. Amazing that the NFL let that happen.

I know! It happens in soccer too. They scream and scream and scream and treat the refs like ****, even when they know they are wrong and are only fighting to try to make the ref feel bad and maybe get a make up call later in the game. Even when the Harbaughs are right about the call being bad, it's impossible to sympathize with them because they acted the same way when they were wrong. Why can't soccer and football be more like basketball and baseball? Complain to the ref? Go ahead. Verbally abuse him? Ejection from the game, or at least a stiff penalty, depending on severity. Same thing with the players. Why put up with this? Because it would be bad for business if coaches got kicked out?

The sad thing is, it probably works. Tomlin is much cooler, and when he complains to officials he lets both men keep their dignity in tact. Does anyone think the Steelers get as many calls thrown their way as Baltimore or San Francisco?

Yeah in the NBA coaches can get a technical so shouldn't they be able to get an unsportsmanlike conduct for this kind of stuff? A coach can get an unsportsmanlike for calling two timeouts in a row but not for cussing somebody out. That's kinda lopsided.

What makes you think you have any idea what goes on inside the Steelers' locker room?

In today's world of Coopers and Connors and Dylans "we're all winners and everybody gets a juice box", it would never happen. Imagine the workplace harrassment lawsuits!

I agree with how players attitudes to refs in soccer is painful to watch. Problem is, I think there's a culture with commentators and pundits about refs behaviour. Players can be booked for dissent, but if they all jump up and appeal, the ref then has to book all of them, and then pundits complain that the ref has "lost control" of the game.
Foolish, really. As I've said before here, I tihnk, at kids level soccer refs get routinely abused by parents, players, the lot.
This is one of the reasons I like Tominlin's demeanour - certainly shows a bit of class compared to the Harbaughs and Ryans of the world.

And that was just because he didn't like his effort and didn't feel he was preparing himself enough. But yeah, Tomlin is a pushover
