Looks like The Boss was trying to find the "middle" in his vehicle aided by some Jersey Juice. Be interesting to see if MADD and others demand the Jeep ad be pulled from the tube and if the Media drags him over the coals like they would if he weren't a "hero" celeb. The timing of this press release is quite interesting, just after hundreds of million people watched his commercial on Sunday.

I've had a Jeep on and off my whole driving life. I don't give a dang who drives them. I like them. Of course the ones be4 all the installed GPS, and Computer stuff. I had one in particular for 20 years. Only thing I had 2 change was, oil, battery (just once), and tires. In this day I bet they pull him from sponsorship.

I was trying not to use the "L" word so this thread could last a while but I can't filter content. Kind of makes you want to tell Brucie, "Hey Son, you're not in Kansas anymore. Get back to hanging with Snooki and The Situation". :lolol:

Off topic a bit but speaking of celebrities that got busted I watched the HBO special on Tiger Woods. They showed the video of cops pulling him over. he was wasted off his ass. Cop said I want you to say the alphabet slowly, do you understand me. Tiger said you want me to sing the national anthem backwards. They cuffed him right after that.

Sorry STD, I was already signed into my account when I copied that link. Here's another one. Funny, when I went to CNN news it spun the story completely the opposite way and blamed it all on the Park Ranger who pulled him over and on Jeep for pulling the ad so quick. Not surprising these days. Guess the truth may come out at some point.

From what I have read, the new Cherokee model's reliability is very poor overall. Supposedly, the 2016-2017 model years are the best ones of the redesigned model. That said, I would use the term "best" loosely here as even those models have similar problems to the 2014-2015 line.

Agree AQL. Last Jeep I had was a 97 Laredo and it was quite reliable and still made by Chrysler. This brand name has bounced around the globe so much since then that I can't imagine how reliability can be maintained. I've had a Dodge Dakota and 3 Tacomas since then and each was extremely reliable with my Dodge chalking up 300,000 miles before I retired it. I'm sold on Toyota trucks since 2014.

Toyota Tacoma Truck I have now, but had a 92 wrangler, & 2002, never had a problem. Had the 2002 up 2 five years ago. Like I said be4 only thing I changed were, battery, and oil.

I NEVER thought I'd buy a Jeep, tons of people I knew out of college with them had issues with them. 20 years later, I really liked the Grand Cherokee, did some research and pulled the trigger.

I was 50/50 between the Jeep and the Tacoma, I actually made an offer on the Tacoma first (one in Minneapolis) but inventory was so tight they were refusing to sell to out-of-staters. The exact Jeep I wanted came in the next weekend so I went that route.

Good luck , and fortune with it. I have enjoyed both. So far best 2 vehicles I've owned. Also just not a car guy. No offense 2 people who are. I owned 1 car in my life. Hated it. Now maybe if I had a ole muscle car as my 2nd ride it might be different.

Obviously if that's the case, the Park Ranger who pulled him over isn't a big fan. Stories I read said he at first refused the breathalyzer test - maybe that's where things went sideways. Hopefully someone knows what really happened, but I'm not holding my breath, so to speak. ;)

Maybe he was buying time so to speak. Knew he was close so refused at first so it would fall a bit.

I’m so confused by this post. Are people offended by his message of coming together? Seems like a good message to me.

As for Jeep itself, love my Wrangler, probably never own anything but a Jeep. Family has been driving them for years without any problems.

I just liked the post cause it had Jeep in it.
I don't really give a dang what he was doing, unless it in my neck of the woods.
