The biggest reason is due to the Oline though. Mahomes doesn't have time to wait for the deep stuff to open up. He's under pressure immediately.

 

Mahomes with the foot injury is not the same. Mahomes with pressure is not the same. Mahomes with 10 and 87 covered is not the same. QBs get all the glory but it is a team game.
