    Running game ranked 26th in the NFL last year. So apparently the running game won't matter next year either

    I think they should consider Abe Froman from Chicago for OL coach.

    Swift did a pretty good job averaging 4.6 per carry; 2.9 before contact and 1.7 after contact. Conner by comparison was 2.3 YBC and 2.0 YAC. So the Lions line was getting a half yard more push than the Steelers line. I cannot believe Conner had a higher YAC though.

    Run blocking was ranked 5th. They didn’t commit to Swift until later in the season which could be why the ground game is ranked low.

    I had Swift in one of my fantasy leagues, he was useless until about week 8 at which point he went on a tear, which is a simplistic way of confirming what you are saying. You often see that with rookie RB’s, they grow as the season goes on.

    Was tempted to waive Swift several times but just had a feeling he’d come good so I stashed him on the bench. Great young player, so is Taylor.

    Hope the Steelers can find somebody like that in the draft

    Like who? Are people really up on Oline coaches??? Because the only one I ever knew by name was Munchak and thats because he is renowned. I don’t think there is a lot of those guys and they are probably already employed if there are.

    This guy had a line ranked very well 2 years running while shuffling players around.

    What exactly are you guys looking for?

    I almost traded Taylor, glad I held onto him, I actually won my other league, he helped bring it home.

    I think the Steelers can find someone this draft like those guys, rd 2 is the sweet spot.

    3 yards before contact and 2 yards after contact. I would settle for 2 yards before contact and 3 yards after contact. In reality, could we have 2.3 yards before contact and 2.0 after contact, with 25-30 carries per game?

    4.3 yd/carry (2.3 before contact + 2.0 after) x 25 carry/game x 16 games = 1720 yd per season. Every team without Derrick Henry would ‘settle’ for that

    The OL job will be the most important hire for the Steelers,We need a guy
    that can teach these guys how to run block. And also need Olineman to be mean and nasty.We should
    draft 2OL this draft and they better be mean and nasty.

    Agree but not stellar results. Lions are not a running threat to be honest, they run off the pass. I want some Cowher Power, "this is where we will run can you stop it?"

    I would like to see Najee Harris, Alabama. Depends on what they do with the O Line or if they trade up to get a QB. This kid is just what the doctor ordered, but any back would have an issue with 2020's line. Hopefully this changes in 2021 or it won't matter who's back there.

    Snell can be a solid #2, he has shown at times even with a marshmallow line he cold get the tough yards.
