He faced long odds to ever play in the NFL, let a lone win some games and throw some TDs.

    He did beat

A.) Baker Mayfield Heisman winner 1st overall pick
B.) Kyler Murray Heisman winner 1st overall pick
C.) Phillip Rivers future HOF QB at some point

Good stories for the Grand kids

IDK, thought he was signed to a reserve futures contract, Wasn't Dobbs brought back in after Jax cut him in training camp, the Hodges just spent the season in the expanded PS. Not a bad half years pay check for sitting around making duck calls.

Anyone have the number for the Arena Football League - it worked miracles for Kurt Warner.

I got to see him play in person when they beat the Browns last season in Pittsburgh. It was a pretty exciting game to be at, despite the way the season was going with Ben out. It will definitely be a memory that me, my son, and my dad share of the time we saw The Duck beat Cleveland.

Well the XFL folded and not sure Arena football is still around, but hey there is always the CFL and plenty of Canadian geese that he can practice his other skills on.

Frankly, he lasted a season longer than I expected.

    Good luck to him.

The kid was gutsy as hell, I'll give him that. Loved the story, it was fun while it lasted. Here's wishing Duck nothing but the best wherever life takes him.

5, 10 years from now we're going to look back at the 2019 season and wonder how the hell the team won 8 games.

He was cocky and confident but in a good way, if he had an arm that could back it up he might have been decent. Right from the start it looked like the Duck could get through his reads much faster than Mason Rudolph.

He would never make it in the CFL the field is 65 yards wide, he just doesn't have the arm strength to throw a 12 yard out to the far side.

I wish him all the best.
