With the O-Line accused of being soft and having little push up front, a lot of soft tissue injuries (pulled and tweaked muscles), and Watt always looking a bit gassed when the camera is on him, has the teams conditioning gone downhill? Late season collapses the last few years also point to long term fatigue and inability to recover quickly. Maybe we need a new conditioning coach.

So weird having 3 guys go down with ACL's too.

I think OL issues are age related...

    I mean....

No Training Camp means no conditioning. No conditioning means greater risk of injures. Greater risks equate to higher degrees of major injuries. Higher degrees of major injuries then sets up an NFL Record for most Soft Tissue injuries to date.

Much of this was discussed during the 2020 Offseason shortly after the NFL Draft. Pittsburgh was not the only one dealing with injuries. For that matter, if Training Staff are to be held accountable, the entire 49ers Training Staff needs SERIOUS evaluation as their top players consistently stay on IR dating back to 2017.

Shouldn't the HC be on top of this? Keep seeing posts about one area or another that needs this or that, like there is no one in charge that already should be.

When you're coach for life you don't need to worry about these things.
