Looks like they are getting bigger and stronger according to both list .. I know that QB'S overall are much more mobile than they used to be..Thanks for the research and I loved Dawson was just a different game back then..IMO even he would have a very hard time playing with Ben and this style of Offense..I know Pouncey was a great Center I just think his career was cut short because of playing Center..I like Trey Hill he is 330 needs some work on his snaps , but I think most of these guys add more bulk once they get in a NFL training room..IMO if we want to get the running game going and to use more PA we need a guy at Center who can get a good push unless we intend to go spread, zone read, waggle or boot game ...Most OC'S use the scheme to help their OL Pouncey got very little help in that regard IMO...

Ok on the Mendenhall fumble the FB/TE ( because we haven't had a real FB since Kreider) tottally whiffed on his attempt to block Mathews.
I read somewhere a few years back the Steelers list a player height and weight from their rookie year, does anyone here believe snacks Hampton was 320 at the end more like 350. Pouncey I thought looked lighter in the past few years some of these guys are not naturally 310 lbs and as they get older some struggle to keep the weight on.

I hope I remember Pouncey for what he was in his first 5 or 6 years, he was athletic and mobile and fast. Seeing Pouncey blocking 10 15 20 yds downfield in open space was a thing of beauty.

Best wishes enjoy your life after football.

Off subject a bit , but I wonder if Coach T really wants to do the rebuild? Now the rumors are he has been calling the Defense I blamed Butler , but Maybe Tomlin has been the OC and the DC if so he might be ready to move on...At this point I am now on board with put him on the trade block we need so much we might as well put Watt on the block as well,, dont give them away get the ammo we need for a fast rebuild..

Would be nice to have 3 ones and 3 twos A new Coach could draft the type of OL and RB he wants..

Keep moving the goal posts. I appreciate the career Ben has had, but there were times this season where he was so ineffective, that he should have been replaced, even if it was just for a series or two. I appreciate that he manned up and said he needed to play better. The problem is, that he didn't play better, except for one half.

I think he did more than "speak up" for him. I still remember the witness accounts of the two large Samoan looking guys who were with AH.

He’s a high risk, high rewards type of QB. You know he’s going to take his shots. There’s a chance that it will result in a TD and there’s also a chance that it will be a pick six. Like his former coach said “no risk it no biscuit”

Then why all the dink and dunk passes? The bad Ben showed up at the worst time. The problem is Tomlin doesn't recognize when it was bad Ben.

I think we all knew this was coming. While his play had dropped off that is some big boots to fill.

This makes Center a huge draft need unless they roll with Hassenauer or try to move Dotson to Center.

Wished the media would stop trying to be the person to break news first. I think he will retire, but at least let the team or player announce it.

So is Ross Cockrell, AB, and McClendon!

Definitely makes that forced retirement look pretty bad.

He’ll probably a snide comment about some other team that fired him not making it past the wildcard round.
