He just won a Super Bowl less then 3 years ago and lost his job. This might have nothing to do with anything right here now but it should show that Tomlin is not untouchable anymore.

He would be a huge upgrade as OC, I hope we at least offer him the job , he probably wouldn't take it..

Yeah, and GB dumped McCarthy, and Tampa dumped Dungy, and... Coaches with good records get fired. It should have happened here a long time ago. The message and plan is obscenely stale.

For DC or maybe even head coach,,go after DC Robert Saleh of the 49ers, he would bring the Cowher fire back, something this team is missing

Doug Pederson is no longer HC of the Philadelphia Eagles

He won a Super Bowl a mere 3 years ago and was let go. I guess he was on a shorter leash than some coaches. Props to the Luries for having the cojones to make real changes. I bet the Eagles will win a playoff game before the do nothing Steelers.

Except that Tomlin is coach of the Steelers and not one of the other 31 teams that actually fire coaches...

But say it with me, does Pederson hold the title of never having a losing season?

Would be a great OC. The Steelers would be foolish not to explore this option.

He's worked and played with some of the best QB's in NFL history. He'd be a fantastic OC hire but someone will offer him a HC job IMO. The steelers should be the first team to interview him to replace MT. If in fact Ben is done, we need a guy to develop Mason or the QB we draft in the first round in a few months.

As much as I’d like to have him as OC/assistant coach, why would he come here if the Jets are going to pay him $8M-$10M to be their HC?

I don't think he even called the plays when they won the Super Bowl, Frank Reich was the OC for the SB win.

Pederson will probably get a HC job, instead of settling for a OC job.

My thoughts exactly. What have you done for lately should be the question at hand.
