Tomlin critical in game decision making...

Has just been awful not only in this last month or so but in general the last 6-7 years. Tomlin is god awful at knowing when to use his timeouts before the half or late in games when to challenge certain plays, when to go for 2 and when not to go for 2. The planning and play calling in short yardage and on the goal line is just awful and is built strictly on hope and nothing else. He has no gameplan when they get behind other then hope Ben pulls it out and now that just doesn’t happen anymore. The bottom line is The good ole boys club of Tomlin and Fichtner and Butler need to go and you make Canada and Austin the new coordinators and you put Tomlin on notice by doing this and saying either you do this, this and that or come January 2022 you won’t be coaching here next season.

 

The guy is awful, he has always been awful. I have stated for years that he was given the keys to a Ferrari and told not to wreck. This explains his super bowl. As soon as the leadership and HOF players left all hope left as well. The Steelers have had enough talent over the last 10yrs to mask in deficiencies during the regular season but as soon as its nut cutting time and time for a coach to earn his money Tomlin is no where to be found. If he didn't have Ben his entire tenure plus playing the awful Browns and Bengals 2x a year this guy wins 4-5 games max. Hes a terrible X and O guy, hes GOD awful at challenges, he cant manage the clock, he can't draft DB's, he does not demand discipline from his players. What the HELL does he do??? Looks good in aviators on the sideline? Seriously why do we pay the guy, hes a players coach? Get for real

 

I challenge any Steelers fan to find any point in Tomlin's career where he made a critical in game decision that made you go "Wow, that was a genius coaching move!"
