My new TV may be at risk tonight.

Family bought me a new 70 inch 4K TV for Christmas but I fear it may be in jeopardy if I see one more free play being whistled dead tonight. I've seen about 5 this season where Ben had a free play but yet they kill it and give us the measly 5 yards.

Yesterday my son and I were watching the Colts and Bills and they had a similar defensive offsides and they put up a huge play but if they blow a play dead on Ben tonight I'm going to have to exit my house to break something other than my TV.

    Go Steelers!

Yep, I bought a new OLED 2 weeks ago. The wife made me buy the extra warranty since we are still in football season.

Those are frustrating, for sure, but the blatant missed holds are what make me want to smash something.

Ahhh the good old Steeler foam bricks. I remember one year we threw one at the TV and the damn dog got a hold of it and ripped it apart. Steelers won so we forgave him.

Ask the family to put you in a straight jacket. That's a nice TV Set dude. Gotta protect you from yourself.

If the defender has an unimpeded run at the QB they will blow it dead every time.

What kind? OLED? Is it a Samsung? I have a cheap Chinese made Sharp but its not that bad....I always get analysis paralysis to wait for the next best thing but then the technology is not there to film in that resolution. I wish there was an obsolescence rating for electronics. lol

Visio. It's clear as can be. Big improvement from my 47 inch I was watching. Wife worked the deal online from walmart. Said she got it for $499 before taxes. 60% off Black Friday deal.

Must be a Steeler Nation thing.

My daughter and son-in-law bought me a 70 inch 4K TV also for Xmas. (They knew I was trying to talk the wife into buying one and she was saying wait until spring). Awesome gift... except our TV stand big enough for a 60 inch was NOT big enough for this one. :lolol: Got that sorted, and this will be the first Steelers game I get to see on it (I had to work last week).

No WAY I damage this thing. That's what mail boxes are for. ;)

Maybe put a plexiglass shield between yourself and the tv

We ordered a new TV stand that will fit this monster. Won't be able to pick it up til mid March though due to Covid back logged. This will be my first Steelers game on this one as well. I put two 2"X8"s across my old tv stand for a temporary purpose.

I guarantee I won't kill my TV tonight if they hose up another free play but you can be damn sure I will be PO'd about it.

Go Steelers! Bury the browns early and let us have a stress free game

We ordered one from Wayfair. Should be delivered within the week. In the meantime, I converted our dining room table. Wife hates it, but she's in Germany now. She doesn't have to look at it. :roflmao:

    Edit: I'm not joking

Back in the day, my remote paid a terrible price for Chico Lind booting a routine grounder that ultimately ended up costing the Pirates a trip to the the World Series. I've never been that angry after any Pittsburgh sports team loss, because I knew it was over for that team.

Spare your TV. I recommend watching “Ant-man” instead, which is a much lower stress experience. It’s a fine movie you can stream on Disney plus.
