What's Cookin? Sunday night playoff fight edition.

Strap em up boys, the journey begins tonight. Nothing says playoffs like brats. Grilled with some spicy brown mustard. Nachos, cheese and jalapenos.

 

This afternoon I’m going to watch my Swedish wife and her Polish friend give their first try at making pork tamales.

Sure the hell won't be eating it at 8:15 in the evening. I'll be pacing to and fro.

Both of these ladies are big Steeler fans and will be drinking beer and cheering. Now the odds are 50/50 they are still awake at half time. Keep in mind, the tamale factory starts at 1pm, and based on the amount of beer my wife put in the fridge, beer is required for making tamales.

I do have visions of I Love Lucy this afternoon.

Won't get out of work til 8 minimum, so planning on a large take-out sushi with pot stickers.

Keeping it real simple today. Pot roast, potatoes, carrots and gravy. This will be eaten at 5:00, then we light up a doobie to calm the nerves, chase that with Johnny walker blue on the rocks and go get my jersey on.

Leftovers from recent family visit. Will have to stop the beer intake by 8pm or I'll be up 5 times during the night. Will be hard to stay awake after halftime when I get up O dark early every day. Hate late games. Onward.

Angus burgers for me and the boy, veggie burgers for wife and the girl.

 

Pulled pork/pierogi sandwiches n'at.

 

Smoked sausage with scrambled eggs, yeah i need to get to the store.

Edit: found enough to make gravy.

 

My wife is making reubens. Hers are the best reubens I've had in my life. We're also making homemade guacamole and having that with chips and salsa.

 

Pizza, Wings, chili dogs...PBR ,IC Light and Rolling Rock...
