Playoff Injury List

TOMLIN said both Edmunds and Boswell have a chance to rejoin practice early this week and have a shot for Sunday.

Also said Feiler and Spillane could possibly begin working and have a shot although I’d imagine they might both need another week.

Ebron and Marsh should be off the list soon if they don’t test positive.

Haden will miss the game Sunday with Covid.

 

He’ll acknowledge the availability of players when they are available. When they are available, they’ll have an opportunity for a uniform on game day. Having a uniform on game day gives the team an opportunity to take advantage of their availability.

 

Edmunds would be a pretty big player to have back. He's been very solid this year.

 

I would still be surprised if they could go by Sunday but let’s see how the week progresses. I’m not even sure if Feiler would get his job back at this point?

I would still keep Wright as the back up FG kicker if they elect to go with Boswell. I'm not sure I want the game on the line with Boswell if his injured groin still shows issues during the game.

 

Both Alulu and V Williams missed practice. Not a good start for two guys who were not even mentioned by TOMLIN. If they don’t return tomorrow they could both be at risk to miss the game.

Boswell and S Nelson were both Limited. Once again Nelson wasn’t even mentioned by TOMLIN yesterday so hopefully he is full tomorrow. If Boz isn’t full by Friday Wright will start more than likely.

Ebron and Marsh are both still on Covid list hopefully off soon.

As mentioned previous Spillane and Feiler returned so have to be activated if they are to play.

Haden will be out.

 

Wouldn't be to concerned yet.... Wednesdays, generally are hit and miss...Rest days/ kinda practice or not day... Thursday is " usually " the telling day

 

IMHO, the team that takes the field vs the Browns on Sunday or whenever Goodell decides is best will be healthier than what has taken the field over the last month. Ben is better, key players got some rest. ILB will be at its strongest since Bush was injured. Really only significant piece out is Haden. Maybe Boz. But the cure for that is to score touchdowns in both halves.

 

Looks like JuJu and Buggs both missed practice today and generally going in the wrong direction mid week isn’t a good sign. Not a big deal for Buggs missing the game but obviously JuJu would be a large loss on offense.

Ebron and Marsh both returned from Covid List and are in line to play.

Feiler and Spillane are also in line to be activated before Sunday but we will see if they ultimately are.

Everyone else out or limited yesterday were full today and in line to play.

Pending on what they do with activating Feiler and Spillane the Steelers might only be down Haden (Covid) JuJu and Buggs Sunday night.

 

Smith-Schuster is a big concern. The Steelers' biggest advantage over the Browns is the receiving corps vs. Cleveland's secondary, even if Ward plays. That advantage is diminished significantly if Smith-Schuster can't play.

Feiler would likely just be depth this week if he can play, but Spillane would be a big help. I'm not even sure he would start, but even rotating inside would be an upgrade. Getting Edmunds back also helps. Add those guys with Watt and Heyward and the run defense should be able to hold up better against Chubb.

 

Cleveland had another guy test Covid today. They are far from 100 percent and missing there head coach and can’t practice......

Everyone practiced fully today, except for Boswell, who was limited.

 

According to the Tribune Review, the injury report is clean.

 

Boz may still miss if he was limited today. Waiting to see Feiler and Spillane activated.

Everyone else besides Haden appears to be in.
