Yes and No... Mason has more arm strenght and mayson has a tad more speed Mason is much better at the deep ball .. Ben is better pre snap ..Ben can call his own plays and call his own route tree..Ben is better in short and medium passes ,,So I still give the edge to Ben , but it's not a huge advantage if we had a real OC it would be a very tough choice for me...

Are you talking about Peyton with Colts or Broncos?

Colts had an opportunity for Luck with a returning injured Manning. Hindsight, I say they messed up.

Broncos only sat Manning when he was injured. Brought him back in for the playoffs and super bowl run.

Mason isn’t bad, but he’s not Luck. Luck wasn’t bad, but he wasn’t Manning. Ben and Manning are elite QBs who played for a long time, won lots of games, division titles, playoff games, and Super Bowls.

There’s no way Ben isn’t played over Mason this week. We expect Ben to beat the Browns.

Whats a Ben short pass ? Anything further than the LOS ? Medium passed 5 yards ? Deep is literally 10 yards downfield now for Ben.

Nope. Once the pocket gets slightly muddy, he's a deer in the headlights.

I honestly don't know what I think. What I've seen from Ben for over a month now is now even close to average skills. He's been downright terrible with the exception of 2 quarters. On the other hand, I've seen very little at all from Rudolph.

What makes me very nervous is Ben has just very recently said they plan on sticking with the quick, short passes. Could be just talk, or there could be something in his head that makes him believe that's how he needs to play to win.

Either way, there are a lot of questions about this team that need to be answered, and we're going to get those answers on Sunday

What makes you think 4 INT's would get Ben pulled from a game?

Are you kidding me? Mason sucks and we will never ever be a real contender if he is answer. Ben is on his way out and should retire as soon as year is over. His upside in playoffs is much higher even though he tailed off late in year like all old QBs do. Brady and Manning should same issue. Great early season crap late.

This thread reminds me of the threads that were started after Snell had a good game. Mason had a good game and showed a lot of growth but do you really want him under center over Ben in a Playoff game?

Only if Ben can’t get it done physically. If that’s the case, we’re probably losing either way.

'OB1 Ben (Knoby?), your our only hope'. Ben will start and he won't come out unless he is injured, maybe. That is the reality of our situation as I see it. I feel more comfortable with Mason as a backup if he is needed, that's all. I know age has taken its toll on Ben but also has given him vast experience that I feel can offset the physical limitations of time.

Wasn't it you 304, that said last year that Rudolf wasn't worth keeping ? Now you want to compare him
    to a possible HOF. Lol.
