I don't think real fans actually root against their team. Real fans can be pessimistic all day long, but that doesn't mean they want their team to lose. There's a big difference.

I am not a Tomlin guy. I also don't have a ton of confidence with this team the way we've been playing lately. I liked what I saw in the 2nd half vs the Colts, but that's only 1 half. With that said, I still expect us to beat the Browns. If we play KC, I'm not going to be too confident, but I'll be cheering hard for our boys

I'm a loyal, devout yinzer and I didn't expect to lose to Jacksonville in Pittsburgh in 2017.

 

I find it ironic that Steelers are facing the browns because they beat us Sunday.

 

One thing that is consistent, our red zone/ goal line offense being a huge question. IF we had a decent one, we might not have lost. We beat the spread and MR did what I thought he needed to do in having a successful game. What would be even more ironic is IF they end up winning next week after all we have done to prepare for it.

 

It's kind of absurd how good the Steelers have been for so many years. Yes, another Super Bowl or two would be great, but this team consistently competes.

I still can't get over the XLV SB loss to the Packers. Dammit.

 

Soon to be the most overrated, overhyped, and weakest team to win a Superbowl too!

 

Steelers should have been 14-2. The offense mailed it in during the 2nd half of the Football Team game. That should have been an easy win. Likewise with the Bengals game. The offense didn't show up... and it looked like they weren't even trying. Buffalo loss was legit.... and Browns loss was legit because we rested 4 of our best players.
