Its tough when guys are rolling up on the back of your leg, there's nothing he could do about that one. Was it Gilbert again landing on Pouncy's leg? he already took out DD, by falling on his knee

What does it say when opposing D-Lines are taking our O-Linemen and pushing them into each other?

I'd say the whole team is injury prone.

Anyone got word on the injury front this morning?

and as i keep saying it's because they have slow feet. max starks, all 6-8 350lbs. of him being pushed back into our qb, should be ashamed of himself. willie colon can't get out of his own way.

Yep. Pouncey isn't injury prone so much as he's Gilbert prone.

    Re: POUNCY

Pouncey has a MCL injury that was deemed "not serious"
Mendy was his "achilles" and also not supposed to be a big concern
From what I gathered at the game last night Redman must've been his ankle because he was standing on the sidelines with his right ankle taped
As far as the other guys I don't know.

I just hate to see another injury linger on for Pouncey. He is a tough guy and I am sure he will battle through it. I'll take Pouncey at @ 75% over a 100% Legursky.

    Re: POUNCY

What is crazy here, is that Pouncy is the only starting offensive lineman that does not look slow and fat. They are not what you would call an athletic group. Hence they can't move in space enough to block and also the reason of some of the injuries.

Yeah somebody rolling on your ankle makes you injury prone? I'll give you a guy like Troy who seems to get injured without any real contact from anyone else at times, but not Pouncey.

People call me crazy everytime I suggest we move Pouncey....Well Pouncey would have a lot better chance to stay healthy if we moved him to Guard.....We play a lot of 4 man fronts and the Center is uncovered this forces Pouncey to hurry and get a quick drop step towards the playside, this puts him in a position to where he is more likely to get hurt....

Plus Big Doug is a lot better as a Center than he is a Guard...This OL has been horrid and position switching could help all around....I would put Starks at LT,Pouncey at LG,Doug, at Center,Gilbert at RG and Adams at RT..

I know why put your Probowl Center at LG?#1 to help him stay healthy...#2 because the Guard position must play well to run the Football....#3 at LG he helps protect Ben better,,Ben escapes pressure he can see ,,so why not help Starks by putting our best OL beside him?#4 this would give us stronger run blockers on the right side and we would have a LG who could actually pull and block someone.....Then when Decastro gets back we could run pulls and Traps both ways ....

I thought. Gilbert, Foster and, of course, Pouncey where looking good. Colon was starting to improve and he switched positions and hasn't played in 2 years, so I give him a bit of a pass. They were starting to come together, I don't think the Eagles touched Ben and they have a great Dline. Starks has been horrendous-Heath is better than him.

Should have won last game-Taylor had to try not to pick 6 that TD to Britt. They should be 5-0 or 4-2 if it wasn't for boneheadness. Unfortunately I think they have max of 2 more losses and then toast.

Pouncey is easily the best backup center in the history of the NFL.....HANDS DOWN!.... I mean he plays less than Legs...so I am assuming he is the backup.

can pouncey play LT? that's where i'd move him. i'm pretty sure he could play anywhere on the line. pouncey LT, lee LG, legursky C, colon/gilbert/foster(and coming soon to a field near you dave decastro) RG, adams RT. this ought to shake it up. bring lee up, he's the only true LG we have. why not?

I actually agree with this too an extent. Pouncey is a good center, but he's by no means a Dawson or Webster. If we could get an elite center and move Pouncey to guard our line should be formidable for years to come. Assuming Adams puts it together it could look something like Adams, Pouncey, ???, Decasto, Gilbert.

No they do not and it shows. The nature of Pouncey's roll up injuries do look like bad luck to me though.
