So, the Bills already knew that Ben would sit Sunday. We know they know it. But the problem is, because Tomlin admitted what the Bills (and anyone else who follows football) already knew, the problem is that they now know that we know that they know it.

So @Jujubean, you would be correct to be upset about this, except that you’re not taking one thing into account: we now know that they know that we know that they know it. That makes Tomlin’s decision pure genius.

They got the Chiefs and Patriots (lost both) we got Buffalo and Denver (1-1). Of course, they have two losses to a 12-3 team and we have two wins against a 10-5 team, so strength of schedule wise its a wash.

(edit) K. Checked. They have strength of schedule (.511-.456) We have strength of victory (.444-.407). But, as I've pointed out before, the better your record, the worse your strength of schedule.

(edit #2)- The two highest strength of victory percentages belong to the Jaguars (.667) and the Jets (.633)

Wrong again. The Bills may have speculated the Steelers would sit Ben based on our bye week fiasco and Ben being beaten up. They still would have had to prepare to win to get the 2 seed and could have beaten Miami. Now they can sit everyone and hand us the Ravens knowing we are laying down for the Browns game. Why didn’t the Buffalo coach announce it? Because he’s not a moron.

In terms of wanting the Ravens and not being scared that’s fine. We have beaten them twice this year. We can talk after the game next weekend and see how that works out.

If the Bills play that game to win using their starters, the coach is stupid. Imagine if a key starter got injured. I think we know they will be resting people. They fool nobody.

I mean I guess it depends on how much they value two home games or the possibility of a home championship game if somehow KC gets beat rd 2??

So Mike Tomlin gives out some information and he’s a dumb ass and when he side steps questions with clever cliches to not give out information then he’s still a dumb ass?
Some of you guys need to drop the hatred for Tomlin.

Years from now, when Tomlin gets voted into the HOF, all the usual suspects on here will be in Canton with FMTI! signs!

I have my own criticisms of Tomlin, but he’s a good coach and obviously not going anywhere anytime soon. I just don’t get why some of the usual suspects can’t just move on and support the team already.

Chuck Noll sucked way worse than Tomlin in his last 10 years.

Agreed. Cowher had some poor years/games/decisions too. People tend to forget. I can't remember how many times I would yell at the TV, "Cowher, WTF are you doing?" It usually involved Kordell.

I remember one time I was so mad at Cower that I wanted to drive to Pittsburgh to put my foot up his ass. I sobered up. He’s still my favorite Steelers coach.

Lamar has like a 50 rating in the playoffs lol. Again I’m still more afraid of our stupidity than any team

I’d like to see how Tomlin would do with Bubby Brister as his starting quarterback.

With that said, Noll got the Steelers to the AFC Championship game with Mark Malone under center. Pretty impressive..

Noll was involved in drafting Brister. He’s got to accept some responsibility for that?

Really...Could win or lose to them...Same as Dolphins, Colts ,Browns ,Titans....I BELIEVE, We could win or lose to any of these teams...

We play well, We can / I think would ...Beat any of them...Play poorly, lose to any of them...Simple as that!
