I'm finally getting around to watching the Colts Vs. Steelers game (listened to it on the radio live) and have a question.

Shouldn't the celebration after their first touchdown resulted in a penalty of excessive celebration or did they get rid of that rule? Brissett joined in their celebration in the end zone. I thought that would be a flag. No?

Thought same thing and thanks to A. Brown Steeler fans know a thing or two about excessive celebrating.

Real question is, did they all maintain 6 ft clearance and use hand sanitizer before and after the dance? :hmm:

The NFL has relaxed the NFL celebration rules. Still cannot use props or disrespect opponent in doing the celebration.

The rule was changed several years ago, and seemingly have given a lot of leeway for other celebrations as well. Some of the D celebrations after a turnover rival TD's.

They have choreographed celebrations now. Rules have been totally relaxed.

    Yup.

Honestly that was pretty cool just wished it wasn't used vs Steelers- meaning Colts did not score a TD all day

It was in 2017 that they started allowing more elaborate celebrations. I don't remember the one from this past Sunday, but unless it was extreme, it was probably within the rules.

So how many players, coaches or even mascots can come onto the field for a TD celebration now?

    12, 20, 53+?
