It would be fitting if Mason knocks the Browns out of the playoffs!!!!

For KC to go down in round 1, it will need to be the Ravens. I don't see the Colts, Browns, Titans, or Dolphins standing any chance against them.

Bad part is Lamar never has done well against Mahomes and is 0-2 in the playoffs thus far.

But it is what it is got to play who we got to play regardless.

Better to rest and still win. Its happened before. It can happen again. Mason lights them up big time in a pay back game for the ages. Then we go into the playoffs healthy and keep the Stains as the mistake on the lake. Clev ownership is so embarrassed they move the team to London making room for the next expansion team down the road. Dreams can come true..

Per another post, these are the scenarios

Bills win their final two games and Steelers win vs Browns
    Steelers vs Colts

Bills win their final two games and Steelers lose vs Browns
    Steelers vs Browns

Bills go 1-1 in their final two games and Steelers lose vs Browns
    Steelers vs Ravens

Bills go 1-1 in their final two games and Steelers win vs Browns
    Steelers vs Colts

But don’t count out the Bengals beating the Ravens. They are playing for pride

Or we beat the Ravens for a third time this season? That'd feel pretty damn good.

Then possibly sit back and watch round 2 if Ben isn't healed up.

First off, there is no guarantee who we play in the first round. With five 10-5 teams duking it out...we have to wait and see. It most likely will not be the Ratbirds....and if it is, bring them on. We will be playing GOOD teams anyway.

no we don't. and anyone old enough to remember the 70's Steeler's team knows they were not afraid of anyone, and they did play the best teams at a time when the game was even more tough then todays game.
The old Steelers and Raiders had some of the most physical games ever played in the NFL...

The Steelers were not going to be better off going into the playoffs if they lost their final five games. That team needed a win.

That said, plenty of crazy stuff had to happen to create the current circumstances. The Dolphins had to beat the Raiders, which required all sorts of insanity in the final moments. The Browns had to lose to the Jets, which was a function of all the COVID issues. Then the Steelers needed the best regular-season comeback of Mike Tomlin's career against a very good team.

I don't think it's crazy to say the Steelers are going to play the Ravens in the first round of the playoffs. It really comes down to the Bills. Do they put their starters out there for what is essentially a meaningless game against the Dolphins? Buffalo looks great, but I don't think that team is beating Miami with it's second string.

Bills coach Sean McDermott said he hasn't decided what he will do yet.

We needed to see the offense figure some things out and the win is great for team psychology. The win was helpful, not hurtful. Can`t worry about the Ratbirds. If we can`t beat the Ratbirds we can`t beat the Chiefs. A meaningful playoffs hinges on our offense figuring out we can`t throw the ball short all the time. Now they know how important it is to keep defenses honest.

I mean, the 2008 Steelers pretty much did that. Played the worst AFC division winner in the divisional round, a rookie QB in the AFCC Game, and the worst NFC division winner in the Super Bowl.

Avoided NE after Brady's injury, avoided the top seed Tennessee team that blew them out a few weeks earlier, avoided the defending champs who beat them earlier in the year...

Not trying 2 be argumentative here, but no matter what anyone thinks, if U make it 2 the AFC, Nfc championship....That year You are not the worst, or least anything...for that year...especially if You go 2 the SB. Lot of people want 2 say that because the team , or teams they thought were the best ...just didn't make it. Because on that day they weren't. That's how it goes in NFL playoffs.
