I just read an article that Juju's mother may have received death threats over the past few games. This is ridiculous if it is true. I hope they catch whomever was stupid enough to do something like that. Whoever the individual(s) is/are, just cost us Juju. He is absolutely everything you want a Steeler player to be. He is unselfish and team first. He has the skills to make him a superstar. Whether or not he would have come back with the hometown discount we will never know. But, I can see him going to the Browns or Ravens and haunting us for years to come. If we are watching Ben's last season or two, Juju is a needed player for whichever QB steps in. We know all too well how everyone blames Mason for not stepping in and winning last year. Juju was a star receiver being double teamed with no supporting star receiver opposite him. As good as Claypool has played as a rookie, he needs a threat opposite him to make him better. If I was Juju, I would want out now too. Whoever the idiot(s) to send such threats should be ashamed! You are no Steeler fan! (END OF RANT)

If he was unselfish he wouldn't be dancing on opposing teams logos. He's gone next year, get used to it.

JuJu isn't the problem. Neither is his dancing for this soft offense.

His dancing on teams logo is a disrespectful, and not a good look when your team is on a 3 game losing streak.

JuJu should mature and not cause the Steelers problems. As for the person who sent threats, super Ahole.

Why didn't anyone call his dancing on the opposing team's logo selfish through 11 wins (5 away games)? That's because everyone enjoyed it until then. Him dancing on the logo didn't cause us to lose 3 games. There were much bigger problems on offense than a pre-game dance.

It was selfish and unnecessary then as well. Nobody enjoyed it ever, besides maybe JuJus TikTok followers.

If JuJus Mom is getting death threats that's ridiculous and uncalled for.

As for JuJu the kid needs to grow up a lot. I like JuJu, but he's headed down a bad path. ABs antics were cute at first to. Look where his career ended up.

I remember when Tommy Maddox’s kids got harassed at school when he cost us the game against the ravens. People threw trash in his yard.

I remember that to. Sucks that that happened to Maddox. But I was mad enough after that game that I might have throw trash in his yard to.

Here was a game he deserved trash in his yard. This was my first Steelers game I ever went too.

Maddox fumbled they returned for a TD
Maddox threw two INT to Aaron Glenn, he returned both for pick 6 TD's.

    Steelers lost 24-6

The Texans had 47 Yards of total offense and the Steelers had 422 yards

Science couldn't explain it and they lost by 18 points.

Not one of them I bet has ever lifted a finger to help anyone, all me me me selfish little pricks. Dregs of society.

I wasn't aware of it until the Bills game. Doesn't matter. His antics have become a distraction and they are a symptom of a basic theme that runs through this team and that theme is a lack of discipline at times. I get Tomlin gives grown a$$ed men enough rope to hang themselves with. In a perfect world, that thinking rewards the organization with a team first, not a me first mentality. Most players aren't a problem, some are. I don't think JuJu wants to be an issue, I just think he is incredibly naive. Whatever the reason, sometimes you have to cut people off at the knees to get a point across. Tomlin won't do that, and therein lies the problem.

As far as his value to the team relative to other players, Bud DuPree would be the guy to try and keep. His impact is potentially more valuable to the team than JuJu. I'll go out on a limb and state that I'd rather see them keep Mike Hilton, too. JSS is a good football player. He plays with heart and courage and I love his enthusiasm but he's more easily replaced than DuPree or Hilton. The threats, although vulgar, criminal and stupid beyond belief, will have little impact on JuJu potentially leaving. He'll command a big payday that the Steelers simply can't afford under their current cap situation and other, more urgent needs.

And a worse look is dancing with all your teammates in the locker room after without masks. The Saints were fined and docked a draft pick for that, likely the Steelers will be, too.

Life on Coach Dad's Steelers, I guess.

Anyone else seen The Social Dilemma on Netflix, BTW?

I have to wonder if his off/bad games track to his social media experience on game day. Guy could use a shrink, IMO.

No player should be recording anything from the Steelers locker room that will be posted on public social media. I thought after the AB fiasco Tomlin would have made that understood.

The fumble against the ravens last year and against the saints the year before was super clutch

I can honestly say that I've never enjoyed it. My daughter showed it to me on her phone earlier this season, I didn't know it was a ritual until the Dallas game.
Juju dancing on the logo probably didn't cause the Steelers to lose 3 games, but it certainly didn't help them win any games either. That's what these guys are paid to do, win games, not promote their 'brand'.

Social media ain't going anywhere, expect this behavior moving forward folks. Not just JuJu, who i hope learned something. Tomlin only has so much influence on today's kids. The internet influences them more than it should imo.

    No.

What he was doing was wrong all along.

It wasn’t common knowledge until after 11 games. I read everything here and online. Unless I, and most everyone else in this board, missed it.
