The penalty of losing a draft pick is to put the organizations on notice, not just individual players.
The league let the Steelers handle AB's facebook live penalty (which broke a league rule), he was fined 10,000$ (out of a 700,000$ game check). I don't remember if the league fined AB on top that, but they couldn't have been very happy about that amount.

For the most part, there is no photographic evidence of the stupid things we did. So, I deny everything!

Good thing Covid wasn't around in'85. We never would have seen the greatness that is the "Superbowl Shuffle"!

I feel we are kind of walking on the edge of a razor after a freakish 20 minutes of great football and a great comeback win. I am not sure we have worked our way out of a horrible period or if the worst is still to come.. I'd hate to have anything pulling in opposition to our momentum that could derail us. This is one of those things we didn't need regardless of how anyone feels about it. However, what's past is past and I hope it doesn't have any negative side effects or distractions at this fragile time. Onward.

Juju was not the only one dancing in that video without a mask. Plenty of other guys could have spoke up. So are some of you going to complain that others "are selfish" or do you just want to pin it all on Juju so you can feel better about yourself if he is no longer a Steeler next year?

Must be a cultural shock going from Chicago to your tranquil setting now.

The guys just won the AFC North after two years being out of the playoffs. Let them celebrate in the confines of their locker room. Does the league believe that these guys should also shower and dress with their masks on? Does Goodell naively believes that when that locker room door closes, everyone still have their mask on? Literally, 30 minutes ago they were side-by-side in the huddle talking to each other without masks.

I’m not a denier, but rules need to be pragmatic and reasonable.

If the league is scrounging for end of year money, let’s fine the WFT, Jaguars, Raiders, Bills and Chargers also. I don’t see any players wearing mask in this video

I was 30 years younger and had a blast there. But even then, I planned to live like I do, and knew I didn’t want to be there forever.

I do miss the restaurant options.

These guys and social media . . . I just didn’t get it. This forum is closest thing I do to social media. No Fakebook, Instasnap, dang sure no Twitter or Tick Tock. I’ve had to fire guys for dumb **** posted on FB. I always thought that stuff was for housewives and high school kids.

I barely do email every few months.

My sister in law, who has never heard a conspiracy theory she didn’t like, is now banned from Facebook.

I am going to assume that people in this organization run off of at least 1/4 impulse power upstairs and ask the following with what I would hope is the correct answer:
Did the players know that they were violating NFL rules? Yes
Did the coaching staff know that this was in violation of NFL policy? Yes
Did the coaches know this was going on? Yes, it would be hard for them not to.
Did the coaches see or know of another previous locker room video that also may be against NFL rules involving another WR? Yes, it would be hard for them not to.
Did the Head Coach condemn the previous infraction and stated it is unacceptable and wouldn't happen again? Yes
Do the coaches know what happened to the Saints ( i.e. loss of a 7rd pick) when they were 2 time offenders for the same reasons? Yes
Should the Steelers be given the same penalty as the Saints for doing the same thing?
If you were a fan of any other team, especially the Saints, would giving the Steelers a pass on this acceptable to you?
I don't blame JuJu or the other players, I blame the so called adults in the room who have little or no control of what goes on with their players and allow the same things to happen over and over again. Where were they and why didn't then do something about allowing videos once again. What they did isn't that big a deal to me, getting caught and sending out to the world is..

Four years after AB humiliated Tomlin with the Facebook Live stunt, JuJu does basically the same thing.

The players love Tomlin because he's one of them and there are no repercussions for mistakes on or off the field.
