I think he has run his course...this guy is the mastermind of the zone blitz, but he is also the mastermind of giving up leads. I saw a stat a year ago where over the last three seasons, that no team has been worse in giving up leads in the 4th quarter than the Steelers.

The pass to the TE at the end of the game is a prime example, it is like clockwork that you can dial up that there is going to be a blitz from the edge and wa la it leaves the middle of the field wide open, the TE turns up field and gains another 15 yards. On something like that you either have to bring the house or you got to take your chances and try to cover people. Also look at the TD drive that tied it up...wtf is going on with the confusion on a 3rd down play at mid-field and then the Titans hit on a 25 yard plus play....major freakin play and your professional defense looks like at bunch JV'ers.

It's ridiculous. This is a team loss there were bonehead plays by the offense, most anytime you get a kick blocked you are going to lose - but in the end the defense let the team down again...once is somewhat understandable, but twice is unforgiveable.

Yeah, i've already said it in another thread, Harrison having to cover a TE on a crossing route with the game on the line.......WORST CALL EVER.

Well, when your defense goes in to a prevent with a 7 point lead and almost 5 minutes to play there is definitely something wrong...especially when our prevent defense always gives up a score of some type.
I knew that we were going to lose the game if the offense didn't score on that last possession.

Yeah - but maybe we shouldn't cut him as much slack, maybe he had the luxury of having amazing players. Also, if this was a once in awhile thing, then sure I can cut LeBeau some slack...but I'm sorry it is a trend. It's already happened in two losses this year. Even the Denver game, we at least had the lead late in the 3rd quarter before that was pissed away as well.

Great point - why would you ever want a guy who has been probably the premier pass rushing LB over the past 7 years in coverage...I just don't get it.

This is exactly why lebeau must go. Why would call a play who mentioned numerous times that he hasn't gotten his legs back and also in his second game back and less than 100 percent. Why was he in coverage on the most important play of the game.

I remember Levon Kirkland doing the same thing. Why was he dropping back deep into coverage?

The Harrison call was a HORRIBLE call.

While I do believe that we have taken a step back in talent this year, this D looked almost completely different last week against the Eagles. There is more to this than just what schemes we are running or who is on the field.

I will say, that if your D depends on great talents to make plays, maybe you have the wrong scheme. Maybe the players make plays DESPITE your defense rather than because of it.

Personally, I am more worried about 1 thing....effort, that sense of desperation that players must show. Yeah, the guys played the game last night. Yeah, they ran the scenarios they were supposed to. The problem? They didn't seem to understand the situation that they were LOSING to one of if not the worst team in football. Just gross.

With the way offenses can play these days, it's not enough to be tough and hit 'em in the mouth because more often than not a penalty gets called. On defense now you must create turnovers. Big plays may happen against you, but if you can take the ball away a few times a game, you'll be in the game.

preDICKtable Lebeau has to step down

I think so we are to preDICKtable where the hell are the exotic blitzes it seems all we do is outside blitzes.when we do blitz up the middle ala the jets game we came from everywhere. that D didnt exist last night.we don't disguise what we do at all opposing qb's are loving us right now i mean when u line up defensively before the offense breaks there huddle they read and attack pretty much anywhere they wanna go. he must step down but damn whos gon replace him we let ray horton go

I love how fans throw the adjustments thing around when in reality 99% of them wouldn't know if an adjustment was made or not
