Post Game Complaint Thread

I think we will all have the same things to say.

Again: can't hold fourth quarter leads.

Steelers players drop like flies.

And Tomlin gets outcoached in a game he shouldn't be.

 

Yep...I know it's on the D but the O needs to score some TDs. Drive down for a TD after Timmons pick and it's game frkn over

 

This team is not a top-tier team. Their defense is weak, their offense is inconsistent and their play calling still sucks.

 

UNBEFREAKINGLIEIVABLE!! That's all I can say without getting banned.

 

Whoever is drafting backup players is not doing well.

 

I would love to complain but Tomlin will never get fired because the Steelers don't do that and apparently Taylor will never get cut even though he gave up the worst TD in playoffs history to the worst QB in playoff history (Tebow). No point in complaining about how old the D is getting or how Mendy and Polumalu aren't really durable players that can last long enough to complete a season. I would also like to point out that after a bye week this team looked clueless, undisciplined and not focused. Not that it matters. This team is Tomlin's and it sucks on the road and apparently plays to the level of it's competition. No point in complaining about it. It is what it is.

 

Poor conditioning

Can't defend against the picks.

Mendy overrated

Too much inconsistency on the whole team

Bad coaching

 

Besides the questionable conditioning, my biggest issue is that they just don't seem to have that fire anymore. Maybe it's a lack of talent, who knows.

Playing down to your competition doesn't help either.

 

Time for coaching changes.

Entire Defensive staff needs to be checked.
who is in control of wide receivers? They stink

 

Lebeau needs to be kicked in the teeth for calling a play in which Harrison had to cover a TE on a crossing route with the game on the line.

Pundits and media stop giving our team credit they don't deserve. This is not the team, more specifically the defense, of the previous 8ish years. We are not good. Denver is the only acceptable loss thus far. It took monumental mistakes to beat the eagles at home, and barely beat them. The defense is god awful, cant cover anybody, cant stop the run--we're fortunate CJ's vision is lacking otherwise we would have been housed early. Their line was blowing crater size holes in our D. All in all we are currently the 3rd best team in our division and old on defense. D needs over-hauled before we will be contenders again. hopefully that initiative happens before Ben is washed up.

How much is on the signal calling when the top 2 running backs get injured, and three members of the O-line. We were still in the game despite this.

Their whole last td drive was ike getting toasted. This dude is horrible. He gets called for holding or pi like 3 times a game and its so blatant, you can't even defend him.

Our offense should've scored tds instead of fgs tonite, but ike needs to get lot after this yr and we need to draft a top corner.

 

we are not a good team right now. offense,defense,special teams.

 

We need some DB'S....When Troy is gone we look like a High School D at best...With that said a very bad choice to have our kicker try the longest FG of his career...Should have punted IMO...

Ike had another one of his horrid games....

Wallace cost us a ton of yards with his non blocking skills on the swing and screen type plays....

Oh well,going to be a long season....Any game that Troy is out we have very little chance of winning.....If Golden is not going to get a chance we need to go get someone....

O is inconsistent but in the old days 23 points were plenty for a win. The D just cant hold a lead or make a big play when they need it. Sorry cant remember the guys name now (dropped pic at the 50) That happens I bet we are all happy over a win. D needs changed up including coaching.

This is the 09 season all over again. A talented team with no focus or passion.

 

We need to make ONE more play a game.

Kick the fg one yard further, don't let our punt be blocked, don't throw the interception at the end of the first half, catch the ball when it hits you between the numbers (lewis), .... Only one play and the result probably would have been a W.

The same could be said for the Raiders game. Two plays away from a 4-1 record ... and some happy people on that message board.
