Myself included. Bill and Mike have similar flaws - get up on a team and pump the brakes. Also, losing playoff games with stacked teams. They aren’t my favorite flaws but we are blessed with years of winning, so I can’t complain

Heinz, groutbrook & disco have been saying it for years. Tomlin needs to go, the late season fails hurts the Steelers quest for 7. Can't rely on Ben to carry a team to the SB, he needs a coach to help him get there.

Paying attention, took off my glasses & sitting down to eat my crow.

Well, we need our next QB. What better time to bring in your next coach to let him provide the input on that next QB.

So what part was wrong? The part that Ben never had a losing season in his career or the fact that Tomlin would have been gone without him? I think we both know I am right on both counts.

Just like nearly every other season Tomlin has built in excuses for why his team is failing late in the season.

Sad that not once did I see him yesterday representing anything a coach should have been doing. He literally just stands on the sidelines looking like a deer in the headlights.

I am going to stop short of selling on Tomlin. Our offensive coordinator needs to go, Ben needs to be replaced, and our O-line needs help everywhere but at RG. We have the most overrated O-Line in the league. It would be nice to see Munchak, but he’s not walking through that door

Tomlin should have been fired around 2013. The only difference is the Steelers hang on to a coach too long

Better WR's Ward was old fat and slow, Mike Wallace (only in his second year) was never better than Brown and Sanders, and Antwon Randle el was washed up. Sanders or Brown should have been on the field anytime we were in 3 WR sets or possibly 2. Which didn't happen

If their is a quality coach out their with a proven track record in the NFL then yes, cut him lose or make him defensive coordinator... Mike Tomlin is a good coach, but he isn't a great coach. He won 2 Super Bowls but the players were from a team built by Bill Cowher. Tomlin has proved time and time again, he can get them to the playoffs but then nothing more... We need a smarter coach who can build a more solid team. Big Ben should consider retiring, he is not mobile enough as a QB and maybe be kept on as a QB's coach. We need a younger QB that can throw the ball accurately and is SMART and mobile... We need a power running back and we need Bud Dupree and Devin Bush back healthy... At the offensive line we need youth... Players who can run block and pass block well, and not run downfield on passing plays... We should do everything we can to get Najee Harris from Bama in the draft... He would be a great addition to our run game...

My last quote on this thread is pretty much where I stand now.

This playoff loss was debatably WORSE than Jacksonville. The fact anything can compare to that loss is a monumental failure that forces me to reevaluate.

Tomlin isn’t even 50 yet, and with his resume and at that young age, I’ll hold for now. How he does during a rebuild will be telling.

Get a clue, Sanders was injured in that game, and Brown didn't know the offense well as a rookie.

Honestly I think he should stay. The offense needs a totally new direction if Canada isn't the answer and if Ben doesn't like it then too bad. I think defensively going more to a 3-3-5 or 4-2-5 is the long term solution. We are pretty much heading in that direction with the slot corner being more and more important every year.

I honestly don't think it's Tomlin's fault that father time has caught up to Ben and the OL nor was it his fault that Bud and Bush got hurt. I understand that it's a results driven league. But that 8-8 season showed me something.
