Steelers fans resolve everything before anyone else, if the Coaches would rake our advice we would have 30 SB trophies, and all of our drafts would look as successful at 1974.

There's an NFL x-quarterback out there who would probably argue that.

Sorry to hear that truckin and I wish you all the best moving forward. Unfortunately yes it affects some more so than others. Also it will be unfortunate to hear the stories of those whom are permanently affected by the pending vaccines... I'm all for anyone wanting to take the vaccine I truly get their rationale in doing so. However I do not think it should be mandatory. There is no solid information one way or the other on this virus or a rammed through vaccine. All we have are bickering doctors, scientists and politicians with unending numbers that they refuse to agree on, coupled with countless folks and their personal experiences that vary and stoke arguement just the same.

Long and short of it is, I would truly prefer people make their own best decision with whatever information they feel best suits them in regards to vaccines pushed by vaccine manufacturers that cannot be held liable for Their product... As opposed to the everyone now has to take it because it's been mandated.

King Roger said the NFL would not horde the vaccine and it might be the first thing he has ever done that I agree with. Save it for people in bad health.

As a veteran, I can get it when I want it but I won't take it until we know that it isn't more damaging than the virus.

Let someone inject you with a drug that was rushed out during a political ****-storm to protect you from a virus that was used for political ransom? No thanks!

I agree... Life ain't fair and it never has been and this year has more than hammered home that point for most regardless of what side of any of the issues any of us are on.

I will not take the vaccine until some time has passed and further research on it is known. Ask Dr William Thompson about vaccines and what they can do to people without their knowledge. While at the CDC, he found a 340% increase of autism in African American boys who took the MMR vaccine. And the CDC suppressed their own findings.

I feel bad for the young kids today taking all those vaccinations. A lot of aluminum they are pumping into those shots.

It's been 8 months... Bodies are not in the streets. Homeless appear to be largely unaffected and supposedly they are very compromised according to many an advocate. Look I get it you have your points, I and others have ours. None of us are any more right presumptively than the papered folks stirring our emotions on the subject based off of their studies. I apologize for folks who have been deeply affected with my unintended crass appearance here but this whole virus never warranted the lockdowns, the life altering/ending stats it has produced. Is it real? Sure. Can it and or does it affect others differently? Absolutely. Are there countless stats of bad things that do the MORE than the same thing daily/monthly/annually that historically if not in this recent culture fly under the radar because they are not the flavor of the mood moment? 100%!!!

I've been respectful of this thing with an objective eye the whole time. I know folks in the medical field. I know folks whom have been affected in various ways from it sucks, to Its nothing, and know folks whom have a death certificate with covid attached. Guess what? Nothing has changed any of it other than people are losing their jobs, closing their businesses and not being allowed to do dail **** in life like working, going to school, enjoying get togethers, experiencing fellowship, getting married, or in the very least... Being able to attend a damn funeral!!!

We are being driven bat**** crazy and folding in life over political opinions on a virus that appears to be at the very least overwhelmingly beatable. Never in my life have I seen unconstitutionable mandates put in place over a sickness that trails largely and statistically behind every day sickness be it on a whim or self induced with so much fervor to the extent that I question why is there no other precursor mandate(s)?!?!?!?!

This is about control top to bottom no more, no less and to not see it must be utopic. I can dig and get along with folks who disagree but in my opinion, we've been duped pretty bad by a bunch of BS and their lying counterparts that spread it. Doesn't make me any more right than wrong but the government is hen picking on what the soup du jour is and people are goofy footing all over it.

You do understand that governments depend on tax revenue and that the last thing they'd ever voluntarily want to do is shut down an economy? Especially this country! You say never in your life have mandates been put in place like this. In your lifetime yes, but pick up a history book and you will find they did much the same thing 100 years during the flu epidemic that was killing millions of people. People back then bitched much like yourself and that the government was overreaching. And in a couple years, things went back to normal and all the conspiracy talk calmed down. Let's hope this one is shorter. I don't like it as much as you do, but I understand the reasoning behind it and there is precedent, just not in our lifetimes.

The same people saying this vaccine is rushed are the same people saying I wish things would return to normal already. Can't have it both ways.

Where in the world did he ever say a person could catch Autism?

He stated that studies have shown that some vaccines cause Autism.

Right as in a vaccine giving someone autism which medically doesn't make any sense. And the aluminum thing you actually consume more aluminum in food and drink in an average day than in one of those shots.

As Americans, most of us typically see the rest of the world exactly the way our government wants us to see them. Dis-information and propaganda work very well on sheep:smiley1:

    no sheet moron...

the stuff they put in the MMR vaccine (measles, mumps, rubella) was the trigger that they found gave rise to the 340% increase in autism

No way I'm taking that vaccine. That was rushed and not tested well enough to be safe, IMO

My Mom worked for a pharmaceutical company and registered drugs w the FDA n Australia, SE Asia equivalent of the FDA n the process is long, arduous, n filled w many benchmark, etc.

No Thank you for several years

Ok so you'd rather the lockdowns and social distancing would continue for several more years until you feel "safe?" Desperate times call for desperate measures. Our FDA is very rigid, this is one of the few times they are breaking protocol and for good reason.

It's alright to be weary or skeptical of a vaccine. We are humans, fear is a part of life. However, fear should not be driven by falsehoods.

For one, regardless of your personal views of the vaccine or virus, it should be abundantly clear by now that "normal" will not return until this virus is largely washed out. Like it or not, your governors and world leaders, for that matter, are not just going to collectively throw their hands up at once and say, "We tried, but enough enough, go back to your 2019 lives." No. The virus is going to need to stop spreading, one way or another. We can achieve this by waiting years for herd immunity or by vaccination. Both options suck, but we can thank China for giving us this lovely dilemma.

As far as the vaccine and being rushed.. The only reason other vaccines aren't "rushed" is due to financial and volunteer limitations. Seemingly unlimited amounts of money were thrown at the development of vaccines. More importantly, however, there was no shortage of volunteers. And living in the midst of a raging pandemic made getting efficacy results faster than ever. It typically takes vaccine manufacturers years to recruit 30k people for their trials and gather enough data from them actually being exposed to the diseases they are testing. Contrary to popular belief, vaccine manufacturers don't test 30k people and then follow them around for the next 4 years. Adverse reactions from vaccines almost always develop within a few weeks. That's what the vaccine makers care about. You can dig up stories from years ago about failed anthrax and swine flu vaccines all you want and spread fear, but understand that these vaccines weren't properly tested at all by today's standards and had extremely limited research compared to covid vaccines.

Ok, time to close this thread. COVID is one of those subjects that brings on political commentary. We don’t do that here. Enough.
