last 3 games have been real horrible on offense. they've played like trash! do you think we ran out of gas? or the whole scheduling cuz of covid. could be the offense is so predictable and teams have figured them out? even will all the injuries the defense more or pess played well. hope we get our act together and game plan alot better. and stop the drop(s)

We're playing 5D chess. See, we had to lose 2 in a row to get the rest of the league to assume we're overrated and not take us so seriously. We had to make our offense look pathetic for 3 weeks in a row so no one sees the storm that's coming for them. We might even lose another 2 games to really sell the con that we're weak.

And then unleash hell in January. :emperor::wizard::aikido:

Dude honestly IDK why the Steeler organization tolerates Tomlin. Yes I understand that his worst season records are 8-8 and he has never had a losing season in his tenure. But riddle me this. Super Bowl wins are the
measuring stick in the league. Tomlin has 1. He usually doesnt win the BIG game with tonight being one of many that he has lost. Question is: how many of these types of loses in big game scenarios will the organization endure before they realize that he is a good coach but not a great coach thst the team needs.

    He’s coasted alongside a Hall
of Fame Quarterback and a Hall
of Fame Defensive Coordinator in Lebeau.

    It’s indisputable.

I believe the title of your thread belongs in the sum up the Steelers offense in one word thread

I get the "3 games in 12 days" excuse. I get the "injury bug" excuse. But what's the excuse for the terrible play calling. This has been an issue for far too long now. "Its 3rd and long. Let's run the ball even though we have no run game." What's the strategy??? Where's the logic??? Are you trying to fool the defense????

It’s actually excruciating to watch. At least when Mason / Duck were in last year we knew what their level was, expectations were a bit more in line with the product on the field so it was a bit more tolerable. We knew everything was on the defence and they nearly got to the playoffs with no help at all from the offence. They are decimated by injuries now and can’t repeat that trick in 2020.

There is absolutely no excuse for this offence to be this bad, none.

I hate to say it but Ben looks old and slow and his arm is not the same. He may be hiding an injury, IDK. He doesn’t seem to be able to work the middle of the field or go downfield at all any more, if that is gone from his arsenal for good then you’d have to wonder what the future holds at QB for the team. I think the hope was that they’d get a couple of more years from Ben before having to move on. Season is not done yet but I don’t know if I can take much more of this.

Ummmmm how can you blame Ben for these two losses? Yes, maybe he had something to do with today, but so did the play calling, the dropped passes, and ULTIMATELY the oline.

They have no run game. None. Conner was doing backflips to gain 2-3 yards. Our oline is ****ed.

Eagles O Line is in the same condition.

246 rush yards against the #1 Defense yesterday.

So you can take mediocre O Line talent and run.

Not a fair comparison. Their QB accounted for 106 of those rushing yards. We are not an RPO offense.

Ben is not the only issue, far from it. There is plenty of blame to go around. The lack of a credible downfield attack is contributing to the short passes getting stuffed and the poor run game, as the opposition is comfortable crowding the LOS, meaning bad box counts and no running lanes. It’s not the sole reason for the poor run game but it’s definitely a factor.

I have no idea what the answer is to get this offence back on track but that’s the issue as I see it

I know right. Three games in 12 days happens all the time for many teams.

Ya, It's because the schedule kept getting mixed around...That people were loosing their minds...Like there was this big conspiracy that the NFL was really putting it to the Steelers!

Now, Screwing them out of their Bye week...I DO think that really hurt!

Injuries a big part of the problem.

Postponing the Ravens game really hurt. Should’ve played that game on Sunday.
